The REAL chapter 4 boss after you figure his name out. You dont have to fight the partners but I did because its fun :D

Mario talks when you select dialogue options and at other implied moments in the story (such as when he raises his hand to certain NPCs). He's not completely mute, just not very talkative, which is why Goombella points out that Mario is speaking more during Chapter 4.

+Geometry Dash xMarco During the first fight, Dooplis (white ghost-like enemy called a Duplighost, which appeared in paper mario (the one on N64) and could take the form of your party members in it) takes on Mario's form, but as a purple silloutte. No big deal right ? So you defeat him, but then when you have the crystal star and you leave, Mario is still looking "angry-faced" and the camera doesn't follow Mario when he exits. Then when you press a button, shadow mario suddenly jumps up and you are playing as him. Doopliss didn't turn into shadow-you, he turned into real you, and turned you into a shadow copy, he then leaves with all your partners, and you need to treck all the way back to the village, where you meet up with the purple partner he has with him now (with the red hat). That partner was actually an enemy beforehand, but you turn him/her good. You then need to get your form back, but the problem is that you can't hurt "mario" unless you know Doopliss' real name, but even if you try to fill in "Doopliss" when he asks for his name, it is revealed he stole your lower case p from your 'keyboard', so you need to go back to the castle and find the p. Then you say your name to him in the village again, and he becomes vunerable, but then he escapes to his castle again, so you need to treck all the way back to his csstle AGAIN, and then fight him while he is using your own partners against you.

I think Doopliss should be in a Luigi's Mansion game, that would be an awesome boss fight! the Creepy Steeple would be a mansion level and Doopliss is the boss ghost. plus, that jerk deserves to be sucked into the Poltergust and get turned into a painting for impersonating Luigi's Bro! He would make a great painting in E.Gadd's Gallery! >:)

When I played I never thought to beat the partners to see what they'd say, probably because I wasn't in any condition to with only one of my own. Now I can see what happens here! I loved this chapter because annoyances or not I love plot twists like this, and I love fighting your own characters in games.

I already said it once, but you gotta hand it to Vivi. Mario would've been a goner and a shadow forever were it not for Vivi helping him. Then when she found out she had been helping Mario, she stood up for herself and away from her sisters to help even the fight for Mario against Doopliss and Mario's own partners.

They must've deleted that scene because Mario continued to Keelhaul Key...with his partners. Deleted Scene: After Mario's murder of Doopliss and his partners (bar Vivian), he is arrested for murder, but is bailed out by Vivian and Frankly, the former of whom gets a job at the Twilight Town shop to save up for half of the bail. Mario's other partners are brought back to life by (I have no idea at the moment), and they all continue to Keelhaul Key with Mario having a murder charge on his record.

This paper mario was a great game in my opinion, this chapter was a lot of fun to me, granted probably annoying to some since it involves a lot of running around, but it was very entertaining. I hope the next paper mario game for the DS is just as good as this and the first one.

A really easy way to level up is actually on this level, the forest that you go on right before you get to the castle is filled with those Daisys, fight all of them along your path and every now and then you'll find a golden daisy in the battle, its really powerful and it would run away when you hit it, so take it out with your best shot and fast, if you defeat it, you'll get a lot of Star Points as much as defeating a boss. So just go up and down that forest.

If you got Vivian, go back to the temple, but! Go down the well, and jump inside, kill all of the turtle ass Buzzy Beetle bitches, then you see a door, yes? Have and move Mario in to push it for a little bit, once it moves back, use Vivian's special ability and disappear into the shadows, go through the door and get pass it...now, you're on your own!

You've got to go back to the steeple, go down the well and get to the bottom room. There you find a parot and after hiding with vivian you hear him say the name doopliss and you get the missing letter you need to spell it.
