Note to everybody who is about to face off agents the Shadow Queen. With the exception of the Hand Slap, all of the Shadow Queen's attacks can pierce trough defenses, so do NOT worry about defense badges like Defense Plus and ect, just go all in for attack buffs. Trust me, I learned that a few days ago.

@RyneMcKinney So did Count Bleck, who had a different motive than Dimentio. Count Bleck really wanted to leave the multiverse erased after Tippi vanished from his world. Dimentio after finding this out, wanted to do it and rewrite them instead after erasing them. After his Super form was defeated. He left behind a shadow of his power to continue controlling the Chaos Heart, so Tippi and Count Bleck had to sacrifice themselves with the Pure Hearts and true love for each other and destroy the Chaos Heart.

I got to say that The Thousand Year Door was a slight departure from its predecessor, Paper Mario 64, because it featured a more dark tone than it, it doesn't take place in the Mushroom Kingdom, and a different villain, besides Bowser, kidnaps Princess Peach, and Bowser wasn't really a villain in this game, he was just a comic relief and a minor threat.

The way she completely obliterates lord Grodus or whatever his name is. As a kid I was SHOCKED. I was expecting a final form of his but to see him turned to dust really caught me off guard. Like I was not anticipating this final battle AT ALL.

🤷‍♂️ Dunno. She was like that in Origami King. Folded into origami and part of the castle as Olly took it over. But then once he fell and was folded into the 1000th paper crane, and got wished to undo the things he did, Peach was back to normal.

I wonder if there's going to be a "skip" or "checkpoint" feature in this battle in the remake. Every time I died it was 15 or so minutes involving the summoning of the Shadow Queen, the pre-fight, and the Crystal Stars.

If you game over, you can skip the cutscenes. There will be a pipe that appears afterwards to take you back to the Palace entrance.

If you fight with Shadow Queen in Paper Mario, 1,000 year door in order to finish the game, when Shadow Queen ask Mario a question, then you answer "refuse the queen" to avoid the instant game over. At the second phase of Shadow Queen battle, Mario should equipped with Feeling Fine Badges for him and his party member, especially Vivian, to avoid getting cursed by Shadow Queen's Death Bell for 15 HP of damage, and it is serious. Equipping with Damage Dodge Badges, including his party member to reduce the damage by getting hit by Shadow Queen's blows. Mario should also equipped with healing items, such as Life Shrooms, Ultra Shrooms or Jelly Ultras by mixing Ultra Shroom (50 HP) with Jelly Gem (50 FP) to make it 50 HP & 50 FP, and of Ghost Sheets to make Mario invisible for a few turns in the battle which make Mario survive longer and probably defeat Shadow Queen with less effort. Reward after defeating Shadow Queen (with Vivian as of party member) is: Completing the game by rescuing Princess Peach from the clutches of Shadow Queen and see the ending credits that is rolling by. Under no circumstances, you cannot equipped with Double Pain Badge, because Mario will take the twice as much damage than normal damage by being hit by enemies.
