I'm not going to say that i think having stationary as a boss is in itself creative but what they actually *did* with the bosses is where the creativity shine through, they have so much personality and really utilize everything that they can be in their character and fight, it's honestly really quite clever

Yeah... I'm still of the mind that "the world is literally paper, and must constantly remind you of that fact, because otherwise why isn't it just using the mainline Mario games' art style?" isn't really a good take for the series... but since it's the hill that Nintendo seems determined to die on, I have to say, this is doing it _right._ They didn't just do "zomg real world objects in a paper world" like the Things from PMSS/PMCS, they made them actual _characters_ with _reasons and motivation_ for what they do and for how they affect the Paper world. Not to mention the body-horror subtext if you think about it a tiny bit too long... imagine Hole Punch doing what he did, but to a _fully 3D Toad_ in, say, Odyssey. That's some M-rated horror right there.

Agreed, every single Paper Mario game has a soundtrack with at least a few bangers (sup Boo Night Fever, the closest analogue to Thrills at Night), it's one of the few things impossible to screw up in the series (hell, in Nintendo games in general, they really spare no expense in the music department) and one of the only redeeming qualities about Sticker Star... ...but this game, man... I'd rate Origami King's OST *_at least_* as high as TTYD's, if not higher, and the battle and boss themes are a large part of that.

And also, because he punched out the on button at the beginning, it would mean that you wouldn't have any way of using the earth vellumental (to escape hole puncher's special attack) or doing a rush attack So it might be possible but there is quite an obvious difficulty rise
