《Paper Mario: Origami King REMIX》"The Dual-Bladed Duelist" Scissors Remix || Season 7

Its been ages, ages since i've done a remix of any quality, any caliber like this, And i knew it had to be something that wasn't sonic or kirby.. so where else to go? ah yes: Mario.. Paper to be exact... I was looking into songs that really felt my kind of vibe and the songs in origami king so far are some of the best in the series, so i really went in for that one. In any case, i DM'd glitch that i was starting something, and soon i was like "ok yeah, im totally gonna finish this" then i asked him "can you draw me a pair of scissors..." he went "THE Scissors?!"

Not simply "one of the best remixes" but one of the best compositions I've heard in years. This piece gives me goosebumps. I just seriously, I know it's a cheesy thing to say, but it's _honestly_ hard to sit still and listen to this. This remix has a personality of malevolence, mischief, power, and intense threat. It's a mixture that RARELY musical pieces can get down properly and the funk just adds a playfulness to it all. (It's reflected perfectly in the bit at 2:08 which I love more than I can say) Additionally, the transitions into 1:17 and that whole breakdown is as good as it could possibly be. I had to replay that part listening to the track again because it's straight up divinity. Just all around amazing piece. Maybe, perhaps, at least today, my favorite TNH track ever made. I don't think it could possibly be any better. Just perfect. I can't wait for more season 7, and I know you're cooking up a good one right now.

The beginning sounds like something from Kirby, then it shifts to Doopliss, after that, the second phase of the Shadow Queen. And also a piece of Rubber Band. I love this so much! It's so unique for a song to be like this! Also referencing TTYD is just a whole new feat on it's own. Not to mention how good this sounds.

I got the biggest smile on my face when the scissors appeared on screen and the theme started because this is my favorite boss theme from the game, (though it's really hard to choose since they're all amazing), and this remix makes it, like, 10 times better. So anyway, leitmotif list: 0:59 Doo_liss theme (I actually didn't hear this the first few times I listened) 1:44 Shadow Queen second phase (funnily enough, I'm pretty sure the scissors could one hit kill shadow queen and every other final boss in the series just because they're paper) 1:57 Rubber Band theme (I think) 2:50 I think this is something, though I can't remember what it is

I'm really only thinking that because it's a pair of scissors against something made out of paper and the game already made the joke that they one hit kill Mario regardless what state he's in when he comes in contact with them. I'm kind of curious now, would the final boss invincibility thing work against a literal pair of scissors?
