Dude I am LOVING the music in this game as I'm playing it, and you are crushing it. I bet I'm not the only guitarist who noticed that the guitar tones in the actual game sound like they're coming through a cell phone speaker though hahaha, not good. I completely concur with your sentiment about the Red Streamer battle theme over the others; there's something so 'Mario' about it that the others just don't have. Maybe it's the pep behind it. The 'bounce'. It sounds like the music itself is just having a blast and therefore you, as the player, are too.

I feel as though because they weren’t given full creative liberty with the actual story, they did as much as they could to at least give the rest of the game as much flair and personality as possible. It shows in the really pretty visuals, the weird battle system, and, of course, the music.

GASP this song rocks so much it barely needs the metal approach - oh, but it works well! The key here was you keeping/adding the saxophone. Metal and Saxophone are not a common blend, but well spotted, it was what you needed here. WELL DONE.
