@@axelltheswampert7553 yes I think the lack of XP is a great thing! It was my first PM I really played (well I have Super Paper Mario but I just did not play that much) so I don't have the old games in mind to compare and I can say this game was awesome by itself!

@@Croco_64 I think is not necessary to have XP/Levels, but giving something that makes you want to enter in battles and that's it, not just money as a reward. The puzzle thing and Boss battles are really fun! The old games are awesome too but in terms of gameplay they are too similar to the Mario & Luigi games, I don't know if the success of that series was the reason of why in SPM and for the rest of PM games Nintendo decided to change and try something different, like trying to give Paper Mario it's own formula
