Not so fun fact - Like Zebra said, Nintendo has been stubborn when it came to listening to the fans. It's because in an interview with the developers of The Origami King, they wanted to move forward with Paper Mario by keeping the story and the game within the Mario universe. They didn't want to create new and original characters; they wanted them to all be Toads. When they made this response, fans were upset about this and feared that this is the future of Paper Mario. But seeing this remake gives people... a spark of hope.

Okay, a helpful tip. The Battle Master isn’t there to help practice moves per se, but he there to help prefect Stylish Moves. Stylish Moves are a little flourish before or after a move that give you extra Star power. They are really satisfying to pull off and worth looking into. But they aren’t required for progression.
