Honestly though putting the trans stuff aside there is merit to it. Her backstory is about bullying and learning how to stand up to your family(who can oftentimes be the 1st bully a child has)it’s also about redemption and about self discovery through spending time with Mario her personality grows over the course of the game and personality wise she’s so sweet so kind and her shyness is just adorable. Also Vivian is by the most useful partner in this game from fiery jinx to infatuate to even helping Mario dodge powerful attacks she’s very useful in chapter 4,6,7 & 8 and she is also a big help in getting through the pit of 100 trials.
