Idk if you'll see this but i still tell people about you and tell them about speaking with conviction. I heard it so many years ago when I was young in a time when I was alone with no guidance. It taught me to find that place in my heart, the place where my convictions lived. It helped me stand on my feet and move forward. I know it sounds dumb but I just started speaking only about what I knew and cared about. People follow someone who is passionate. I made friends because I had things that mattered to me. I no longer looked for validation with my presentation of myself in a way that mimicked others I admired. I found strength in those words. I found my way because of that poem that I cherish now as a mantra. So, thank you for that.
