Hi Caroline! I'm glad you like this and I'm happy to help. Once you get more practiced at making your own FPP patterns, you find FPP very freeing and each piece becomes your own. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead. Thank you for watching and supporting our little channel.

I do have a question for you. Do you know how to make a motorcycle on freezer paper or just regular paper graph paper?
@conqueringmountscrapmorewi25099 ай бұрын
Hello Daisy! I'm delighted that you liked our video. I would start to draw out your design on graph paper first then you would be able to see where you would have to make your breaks in your design for sewing. I have not made a motorcycle design but I'm sure you could find either pictures on the internet of FPP patterns or of motorcycles. The Psychedelic Snowflake quilt video will drop at the first of the month and it is going to be a free sew along. I hope you have a fabulous week ahead! The next virtual Zoom sew date is on April 6, 2024 at 9:00 am to 5:00 pm MST. If you are interested, please come and sew with us. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel.

I know this is 3 years later but my freezer paper isn’t holding the fabric.. anyone know what I’m doing wrong?
@conqueringmountscrapmorewi25094 ай бұрын
Hello Natalie! I'm happy that you enjoyed our video! The freezer paper gets covered with little fuzzy fabric dust and this is why your freezer paper is not sticking after a few uses. Also your freezer paper may be too old??? I hope you have a cheerful week ahead! The next virtual sew date is on Sept 7, 2024 at 9:00 am to 5:00 pm MST. If you are interested, please come and sew with us. Thanks for watching and supporting our channel.

I enjoy FPP but I have to confess that it took a few passes (read mistakes) for my neurons to fire correctly.

Agreed and me too! I just had to remember that I'm assembling the block upside down and backwards. Thank you for watching and posting!

Been sewing 50 years quilting a year. Why oh why is everyone cutting WOF it stretches? Now all the patterns are made cutting that way. This makes no sense to me. When and why did this all change?
@conqueringmountscrapmorewi25093 жыл бұрын
Hello Terri! I agree with you on things changing. The quilting teachers no longer teach terms like "needle match" or "stay stitching" your blocks. I think the change has been brought about because of the cost of cotton and trying to standardize the way patterns are written. Thank you for watching and supporting our little channel.
