I love paper piecing, but somehow I never thought to look to quilting patterns for inspiration, so thanks for sharing that tip. I always love to see how you use your gel prints, because I love to make them so much! Hope you’re staying healthy and warm on this cold rainy day.

Yes....use and borrow from all art forms....stained glass patterns or mosaic is another couple sources. I am spending my days in my studio getting it back up and running....painters are here painting entire house ....will be done this week.

Love the stitching. Karen, how do you get your poscas to work so smoothly? I have so much trouble with mine not evenly letting paint out of barrel. It's either not there or globbing out. Thanks for all your insight sweet lady! Love your teacher's heart!

Hmmm I've never had trouble with mine...so maybe you got a bad batch. I shake them up each time....and prime it ( press down on tip) each time to get it flowing. Other than that I am doing nothing. I have colored ones that I bought over 6 years ago and they continue to work too.... When using them you need to apply a little pressure and go slow ( hard to tell when my video is sped up) to allow the paint to come out. Hope something in this helps. K
