Thanks for the intro into how Japanese paper walls are created using plant mucilage. Not sure I would want to 'eat' mucilage, however :)

Haha, it looks a bit off-putting in pure form, but if you just add a bit while cooking, it's kind of like adding cornstarch or flour to thicken something that would otherwise be too watery.

Those are some neat plants! Also I kinda maybe didn't know that bandicoots were real animals, not just crash. whoops.

Haha, yeah, bandicoots don't seem to get talked about much. I don't think I've ever seen them in documentaries or other videos unless I was actually searching for it. It's probably partly because they're somewhat low on the cuteness scale, but not low enough to be noteworthy. Cuscuses on the other hand.. Not sure why they're so seldom talked about.
