It was PRX something who held them back, if you listen to their team voice you will often hear something saying "wait! wait!" or "chill! chill! chill! guys". That's what makes PRX less aggressive and changes the original PRX playing style. Something is not good for the team. and something is also not a consistent player and often makes mistake by being the first one to die without providing any benefit to the team. He is also not a very good duelist, he doesn't have sharp aims like t3xture or aspas or demon1, nor does he have a good battle IQ like Forsaken or Tenz. something is just overrrrrrated. Therefore PRX must remove something from the team or PRX will keep losing on the upcoming match.

@@Brian-qj4kk sorry but you are blatantly wrong. the team overheats and he stops them from over-aggressing. he has more deaths because he is a duelist entry-ing for the team. he has cracked aim but yes sometimes not as consistent. there are so many times he has clutched for the team like last week on lotus with the 4k. don't speak on matters you know not. what little details they release in voice comms is a tiny peek at the entire picture of which you know nothing.

You could make the argument that PRX were playing around this match, but seriously, we had a 2-0 lead. I’m hoping this is just test for new agent comps, seems like after DRX was one map up PRX started trying to actually win but still couldn’t finish the series. this should be a wake up call. DRX haven’t beaten PRX since their roster changes. Again, you can make the argument that Flashback Foxy9 are getting better but that just means PRX also have to be better, no? Anyways ggwp, and hoping in Champs the form is better so they have a chance for the trophy.

@@Ho-ol3vp it honestly looked like they just became tired. yes both teams got sloppier as the maps went on but PRX just couldn't hold onto their momentum. their map pool or jing's agent pool weakness aside I think their stamina is the team's biggest problem. they just cannot do a bo5 convincingly. I'll always support PRX and I know they'll show us their stuff in champs. W Gaming.

Putting aside stamina and other external factors in the environment, I think PRX are definitely struggling with the bo5 because of their map pool as well. Abyss just came out, their Ascent and Bind is pretty subpar to all the competitive teams out there, and they are known for permaban Haven (doesn't favor their playstyle). In the end, they only have 3 maps in their favor (Sunset, Lotus, and Icebox). But obviously 1 of them ends up getting banned by the opponents and the rest comes down to RNG.

The only "test for new agent comps" was Bind and maybe Ascent, but they have been using this Ascent comp. PRX need to just roll with the current meta on Bind otherwise it will be a serious counter pick for teams to capitalise on. They can definitely play F0rsaken on Fade or Skye. But they prefer double dive despite it being so dependent on confident aim and util combos working. And even then, we saw it on Ascent with the same agent comp that they will get lazy and revert back to one-by-one duels and getting punished. They have some really cool coordinated tactics, but they also have some of the most easily punishable strats if they keep repeating. I hope this serves as a good point of reference to review some map strats as well as looking into how to adapt the team when Jinggg is not able to have direct impact as a duelist. He did amazing Map 1 and 2, but bottom fragged badly in the last three. Stamina and fatigue definitely kicked in, but at this point, they have done multiple Bo5s so this is something that they cannot let slip again if they want silverware. And I agree with what a lot of other people are saying that PRX has a narrow map pool. Teams like FNC, GenG, G2 and LEV can play on any map and do pretty well. Haven should be addressed even if it's a permaban since it could be another Breeze situation where you ban a team's best map and leave Haven open just to get wiped. Bind has some easy fixes since a lot of mistakes where just underestimating stuff like Gekko ult's range or not having a distraction from hookah when pushing out B-long. Ascent can work but they need to not get complacent and depend on hero plays. Haven, they had a good idea for a comp and FNC have shown Iso + Yoru can work if you have good info. Abyss, it's too early to tell, but this could be like their Pearl or Fracture if they refine the strats. All-in-all, PRX have solutions available and it can be difficult for a team to have even a 5 map pool which they're really confident on, but at this point, they have played together for over a year and got to finals multiple times. Now is not the moment to start reverting to Champs 22 PRX.

It’s not even a map problem at this point. The score was 2-0 and ended at 2-3, in those three maps it was winnable af (and those maps weren’t new to prx too ascent,icebox and bind iirc). Maps which prx dominated and were good at,at some point. Even if prx are just chilling and it’s an off season while waiting for champs,the way they play don’t look promising and impressive enough for champs.

i feel like wat mindfreak said is true, prx kinda lost their identity since champs 2023 and its kinda sad to see the core of wgaming just disolving slowly. what alecks said as well, where they got too discipline and are just waiting for others to do smth on the map instead of taking charge themselves. due to all the pressure in shanghai, they listened to all the comments abt discipline, abt bad map pool, abt needing a 2nd coach. now theyve done all that and plays veryyyy safe, it didnt feel like every game was a rollercoaster anymore and i dont get the same joy and hype from the games. maybe its the fear and mindset that they dont want to fk up again so that they wont get the backlash from everyone like they did in shanghai when everyone expected them to win but complained when they didnt. really bad map pool for them as well, especially for BO5s, their only strong maps i wld say are sunset and lotus. hope they come up wif new ideas to tackle the weaker maps though. abyss 1st time, not too sure. i understand that they need to adapt and the things said were real issues that need to be fixed. but i think it has pressured them too much and weakend their mindset now, hope they get back in form. still a prx supporter all the way but it has been a heartbreaking year

Better it happens here than in the grand finals. Our boys NEED to expand their map coverage. Bind, Icebox, and Ascent are not their best, and now any team will be banning Sunset too. 2 map wins but Lotus was pretty close. Please work on your weaker maps moving forward, otherwise it will be a short Champs run.
