Not only can you exploit fps drops with triple smokes, you can have nearly consistently high uptime due to omen and clove having recyclable smokes and harbor having nothing but smokes in his kit.

In the 24th round, Harbor flanking was not meant to be a throw. Omen rechargeable smoke was pretty close to reset, but he got spammed. Harbor was the one flanking because others still have some until left, he has none.

@@chilfang2422 Like, I think gecko put himself there so he can ult closer to site without revealing himself But instead of going in front of him Trash (the name of the ult fish) went behind him - and you can see him trying to go front for a small second. And he IMMEDIATELY turned around and went the way around just in time for it to reach site and detain the defuser which won the round Edit: I also would have noted the spray for spike but that is common practice now and people place the spike against a wall so that you only have to spray half the radius (because half the space of defusing is taken up by wall)

This is so fun to watch but, ultimately, it would take INSANE amounts of coordination to get away with this realistically. Like each round they probably have to quickly discuss where they're smoking so as not to overlap or ruin anybody else's smoke. And that's just the tip of the iceberg considering all of the waiting that they have to do, the timer ticking down - plus the retake where in many cases they had no idea where the enemy was an had to rely on their util so much to keep them safe. It's definitely an interesting and suffocating strategy for the enemy but would waste so much mental stamina in just coordination alone!

People significantly underestimate controllers in valorant. They see smokes as a means to an end rather than a tool in which to cause chaos. I’ve had a few people tell me I have the worst smokes they’ve ever seen in bronze and silver recently and it’s pretty entertaining. Sometimes I like to smoke for the retake while the exec is coming in instead of just smoking off the site and forcing a rotate. Then I buy shorty on clove and play inside the chaos. Instead on smoking off main I drop two smokes right in the site and play around them. I’ve legitimately pulled a 4k on ascent a site doing this because they can’t get site for free. They’re out main but they can’t see heaven or dice. They don’t know exactly where I’m peeking from or when, if you do this right you iso the fight on wood box, then peek main, then peek switch and lastly kill gen. With a phantom this happens in milliseconds. And on clove if I get one I’m stimmed and it’s over in 2 seconds. This all happens because I don’t use regular smokes. Sure if you smoke like that you’re giving space to the attackers but it’s actually better to do that because now they’re out main, they can’t rotate and they can’t scale back site.
