Here's a fun video on a hot trend: paper rosettes (or lollies). I show you how to easily put them together, as well as a tip to make your rosettes easier than ever. I love the tip about gluing the end of the fanfold bundle. I have found that if you go ahead and glue the ends to make the tube and then gather the folds into two fairly even bundles, you can then glue the bottom edge just like you did, but keep away from the center. Then you will open it up and it is ready for your center piece in the front or back. This works for even small (1/2" wide strips) rosettes - and no burned fingers!

I'm glad you liked the tip! I think it makes things so easy. I'm not sure I understand what your tip about gluing the edges but not in the center. My edges that I glued were in the center. :( Sorry...I'm such a visual learner.

I guess it doesn't matter about not gluing between the 2 rows of folds. I just lined the two rows next to each other and glue. As long as the glue is still flexible when you lay it out.

Good Afternoon i have this die and im having trouble making the smallest one you are showing in this video, do you only use 1 stripe to make the smallest one, TYSVM . i want to make the smallest ones for christmas. Thank you for sharing your ideas and tips.

+deborah james I'm so very sorry for missing your comment!!! :( I went to answer the more recent comment on this video and saw I'd never responded. I'm so very sorry!!! If you cut your strip at 1" x 12", it won't quite be long enough to join together and make a lolly so you either need an extra length or a smaller width. I don't have that one handy anymore but I believe I used a piece of 1" x 12" and another 1" x 4" or something close to that.

+oceanne dorasawmy I tried it out when I saw your comment as I no longer have the piece in the video. A 1" x 12" strip wasn't long enough to join and press the center down, so you'd have to add on a small piece of the same width. You could also try a skinnier strip if you want to get it out of the 12" length.
