Leipzig-based artist Nele Hendrikje Sandner creates paintings and collages from handmade papers, expressing body sensations & conditions.
Shot in vertical anamorphic on the Panasonic S1H, Helios 77M and Isco Ultra Star with HCDNA (camera mounted vertically but lens being in regular orientation). The macro shots are on the Laowa PeriProbe and wides on the Kinoptik Tegea 9.8mm.

Any tips for color grading? I really love this look?

@@link_8159 this was done with Dehancer. I usually transform my footage to Arri Log-C first and then use film emulation plugins like Dehancer or Filmbox, since I'm not a professional colorist who can just create a look like this from scratch.

So mounting the lens horizontally on the vertical camera, keeps the same characteristics (bokeh, edge distortion, etc)?

Yes. Basically everything is the same as classic anamorphic shooting, you're just using a 3:4 sensor instead of a 4:3 sensor if that makes sense.

But in fact edge distortion gets a bit different since you're using a taller area of the lens - you will have more of those blurry areas on the top and bottom of the frame.
