I LOVE this technique for creating my own textured patterned papers for my papercraft projects. This paper stitching or 'Paper Netting' technique os perfect for journaling, scrapbooking and card making.

Fab idea. I'm thinking it might look nice with stitching little squares/rectangles of organza in as you do the grid, then removing the paper from those sections from behind. Hmmm got me thinking, but I'm trying to finish my quilting at the moment. I'll probably forget by the time I'm ready to have a go lol Thank you Lou x

Looks fantastic! You’ll find it easier to tear your shape if you just wet a border around the edges & not the middle, is it will leave you some integrity of the paper to use

I've seen this and forgot all about it, thank you for going over it! I've been bobbing around for several days, getting out paper and card making stuff but not starting, this has got me cooking again, wow!!! I'm now going to spend some time trying it out for some cards I want to make, thank you so much. Always, thank you so much! I never would have thought to wet the paper for easier removal, THAT'S a super helpful tip! Off Topic: some time ago you had put a link to your website (or somewhere) and I had downloaded some Distress Oxide blending combos you had done. I can't find it now. (is my old brain miss-remembering?) I'm willing to pay for your color combo charts, if that's a possibility, too. Just asking, please.
