As I watched you wiping that wood dust whilst the drill press was still going my heart was in my mouth and I was waiting for you to get cut! PLEASE take more care! You're one of the few channels on youtube I await updates from eagerly, and whilst I have no lathe of my own, I like learning from you. Please take care, we need you around and fully limbed! Tim , with the point tool ,you have three edges , so with your coloured sharpese, mark the flats a different colour ,, you have more cutting time before you need to sharpening ,, stay safe ,,.Regards Alf

Ya know nobody is going to bother moving that wooden pole over and thay'll just hold the roll and pull. why noy cut a slide out from under the base and have the pole slide over on it's own by adding a spring to pull the catch over as you use the towels?
