Nice thought, but the over-wintering queen will build a new nest! If you have a functional nest that is still working and "in the way" you can move it with the workers to a new location by cutting the base and re-gluing it to a new location.. Move it at night when cool by putting the whole nest in a loose plastic bag with just the attachment sticking out so you can re-glue it to a sheltered location. Once glued, and glue cools, let the bag drop and it's relocated! Ta Da!
