General Alduin Tui Sutherland doesn’t seem like the person to copyright hard work as long as it’s credited. This could be major and help her books get more attention aswell.

S1lentWolf oh no not Sutherland, I don’t see her as the type of person that would care and might even encourage fan works. But her publishers might, companies are brutal when it comes to protecting their copyright. Even if something doesn’t pose a threat, is fair use, or might even help bring attention to a product, companies will claim without hesitation. Now I don’t know how Scholastic deals with its own copyright or how stingy they are with it, but they could very easily claim this. Especially with rumors of a WoF show in production floating around.

carrion crow, I get what your saying, but I had one proble with the dragon slayer book, and spoiler alert if you haven't read it. I got annoyed at the thought that the dragons just owned the world, and didn't even try to see humans eye to eye, even though they clearly are the same in many ways, especially when wren talks to deathbringer, like, why cant deathbringer tell the world? but other then that, it'll still be realy wholesome to have a whole community come together to watch the show version.
