What great ideas. I foster kittens and am always looking at ways to fund raise. You have given me lots of ideas. The nugget holders are great except the nuggets are the cost of gold in the UK, so will have find a substitute. Thank you for all the inspiration and the great tutorials on the Scan n Cut.

Thanks for watching and for your comment. Maybe they are the cost of gold because they look like little gold nuggets! Lol. Yes, you can cover a lot of candies with pretty papers to dress them up. Thanks for fundraising and fostering our furry friends. You are a good person.

@@PaperedChef our bazaars at the senior rd center was cancelled. We c ok mplained..they did no advertising. 15 to enter..I didnt even make that the f iij rst year.everyone was upset and complained so instead of fixing it, they just cancelled. I had alreadg bought much to make. I did ok last year but if you're going to sponsor an event, you have to advertise, right. You have so many wonderful things to sell. I wish for you that you sell everything!! I saved your video to watch again later, I just enjoyed it so much. Thank you for sharing. Where are you located? I'm in North central Texas.
@PaperedChef5 жыл бұрын
Gretchen, that’s such a shame. You can still make items for gifts and random acts of kindness.Yes, advertising is key. I don’t think they should charge people to go buy stuff. I’m based in Georgia but that is not where I’m currently located.

Very cute items. The video was darker than usual. Made it a bit hard to see. A tip for you: the pet Santa hats fit perfect on candle jars. I got the idea from the Yankee Candle shop, saw the $15 price tag on their hats and gulped. Went to Dollar Tree and bought a pet hat instead. I'm thinking you might display one on a candle jar (they fit the Walmart candle jars with lids too) and have the hats for sale at your booth. They are one dollar, you could sell them for $2. No work for you if you have them in a cute basket, no packaging needed. 100% profit if you don't count your time going to the store to buy them
@PaperedChef7 жыл бұрын

Hello there, I just love all your fantastic fair items that you’ve made. I was wondering what you put inside the black pillow boxes. Thank you so much for such great ideas. Anita
@PaperedChef7 жыл бұрын
Thanks Anita, I put all kinds of goodies in those pillow boxes. One Tootsie pop fits diagonally and helps give the box its shape. I also add Tootsie Rolls, Mini Mentos, mini caramels, individually wrapped mints or Lifesavers, and Hershey Nuggets. You can even wrap the nuggets in coordinating papers. The same instant Starbucks coffee that I put into these treats also fit in the pillow boxes. I add them when I'm giving the boxes to coffee lovers. thepaperedchef.com/starbucks-instant-coffee-christmas-treats

How did you add the snowman face on the nugget treats? The stamp set has that face inside a circle, but yours doesn't. Did you cut the stamp to make it work? Did you do that with the buttons also?
@PaperedChef2 жыл бұрын
Hello, I used a retired stamp set called Snow Place for the faces and buttons on those Nugget treats.

Very cute ideas, how much do you sell the nuggets for, thanks in advance
@PaperedChef6 жыл бұрын
I go to mostly community craft fairs and even flea markets. I can get away with selling the nuggets for $4 each or 2 for $7 at an actual craft fair or bazaar and for $3 each or even 2 for $5 at a flea market. Sometimes, I do special orders and when they buy in bulk, I will sell them for $3 each. If I were to sell them on Etsy where there are fees and a lot of overhead and time involved, I would sell them for $5 each. You just have to judge your market. Also, keep an eye out for deals which will keep your costs down. For example, you can go into a CVS and get the Nuggets on sale while using coupons and getting extra value bucks back. You can also buy larger bags of Nuggets from Amazon (my links are included in the description). Those save you $ because you are buying them in bulk and if you are a Prime member, you can get free shipping. I also use my Brother ScanNCut to mass produce the Nugget wrappers and I have videos on how I do that too.
