I’ve been using a regular screen protector on my old Notebook pro. The S-pen or Noris with soft or hard nib feels great its fun to draw with. The hard nib for crisp line work and the soft for more natural look. BTW the nibs do wear out, for me they last about 6 months. It so worth it.

Thank you for this, definitely considering getting a matte screen protector when I get the s7 as I'm willing to replace nibs etc. Thank you so much for covering how to replace the nibs as well, will definitely save this for the future to look back at

Make sure that after putting a matte screen protector you will use nibs with rubber base, not made only from plastic, otherwise the plastic nibs will get damage extremely fast.

This is why I went for a normal screen protector (not tempered glass either) as I was worried about this happening to the tip. I've also seen too many complaints about the Amazon tips breaking off inside the S Pen. Will have to try out the Paperlike when I get an iPad one day lol

Thanks, it's really bright, I'm happy I didn't have to use multiple lamps for this video. I'll try and see, I'm really bad at installing screen protectors so I usually avoid them when I can instead of being stuck eternally with air bubbles lol

@CARRIETUBE it's frustrating how when using paperlike matte screens wear and TEAR DOWN the Spen You can see the lines on the matte film screen protector to good to be true 😂

Thank you! this was very helpful! I had no idea the S Pen nibs on the default pen were replaceable. They're releasing a S Pen Creator Edition this year with replacable nibs, more tilt angles, fast charging and a more comfortable grip... But if the default pen nib can be replaced why aren't they acting like it's a new feature? xD Either way, I'm getting the S9+ now and this video helped me decide to leave the paperlike protector until the S Pen Creator Edition is released. :)

It depends on ur needs, I personally prefer to draw on the tab s7, I like The smaller nibs, better multitasking. I prefer samsung ui over apple

They will get damaged sooner or later, but you'll need different nibs for this so they won't damage so fast
