Really love these! Such a great way to do 3D pumpkins. Tried it right away, but I will have to admit, it was not as easy as it looks ... I had to give it several tries & found that concentrating on getting the creases to go in the opposite direction was easier than concentrating on the diagonal fold - It seems to fall into place easier/on its own. I also used a bone folder to burnish every time & even scored the paper @ every 3/4" mark at the beginning to make the accordion fold.

Origami is difficult sometimes. I have to practice some of them from time to time. As for this one, the weight of the paper is the key; if you are using thick paper, it might be too hard to fold. Hope you will try it again! 😁

I bought a roll of orange wrapping paper and cut out a 6x24 inch piece so I don't have to fold 4 separate pieces :) It was a little harder to fold, but faster...

Sometimes it's not you, but the paper. If you use lightweight origami paper, it's easier. Don't give up! :)

I like seeing other people’s work, but a lot of time it doesn’t work for me. So I design all my flowers each time😊 if something I make doesn’t work for you, you can rearrange and make it your own! 😄

You can use any size paper. 6x6 will make a pumpkin size about the same as a tennis ball. 😁
