I don’t have the strip of Kansa quilt but I have the squares. I do have strips of the sari silk. So I cut one of my squares into strips and sewed them together to make a short strip and then sewed the sari on. I love the effect. I also love Amour and will order again (I’ve already ordered twice). Thank you for the recommendation and for the ideas!

When you started I was thinking you were wasting the kantha quilt roll, But I did see it peeking through a lot. Just so you know I can never hear dogs barking and when your working and you aren't talking its fine. Thanks Jessica for inspiring us.

I am using brightly colored kantha fabric and really hadn’t considered putting the more sheer fabric on top, but that’s cool option! I get some of my kantha supplies from Amour too!
