@@paphitisn Nvm, I was able to figure it out after placing the function in the page footer instead of the report footer. Can you tell me why doesn’t it seem to work when placed in the report footer?

@@_Fawaz the count is to count the number of records returned so it should include all the rows. if your report is more than 1 page, then the page footer will be at the end of every page not at the end of the report so that it can count all the records on all the pages.

Hey, for the date/time fields, in the format field inside design view, I set my field Swim to hh:nn:ss but I never get the leading zero so rather than something like 00:23:54 I get 0:23:54. Why is this happening? 😭 I even went into my clock and region settings on control panel and changed the format but still nothing

Sir, after I import the J2121RESULTS into the database, the time values always end up as 0:29:10 rather than the 00:29:10 that is supposed to appear. Is there a way to add an extra leading zero to the start of theses time values to turn 0:29:10 into 00:29:10 ?

Yes. You are allowed to print as many times as you like, only what you submit as your work will be used. If youndo well it is because you worked hard keep it up and good luck with the exam.

Very easy to understand, I had one question though, if we make some mistakes in one of the subparts of the Tasks would we lose all the marks because we are only printing and showing a screenshot of the final output?

Every task that gets a mark can be, and should be identifiable in the printouts. If it is not, then you lose the mark(s). The best way to check your work before you submit is to go through the question paper and make sure everything it asks youbto do, you can see in your printouts. If for example you can not create the query in access, you can still generate a report using the info from the table and you will still get all the marks not related to the query. Marks for the title, header, orientation etc. So always try to demonstrate as many of the skills asked, even if your data is wrong.

are you sure it goes back. that is very unusual behavior. Zoom out so that you can see all 4 corners of you page and then try changing to landscape.

hey sir, thanks for all the videos. i had a question, when we are choosing the primary key, and it says (yes dublicates) should i leave it or change it to (yes no dublicates) ?, and also when you format the date, in design view how do you show the time in 00:min:ss and not 12:min:ss, Last question, u didnt sort the data in the same order the question asked when u made the report, should we not sort it like the question paper eg (first name, last name.. etc)

when you make a field a primary key field it will be indexed and will not allow duplicates so no need to change anything,

that is to do with your clock settings i think as it is using a 12 hour clock format instead of 24 hour. I am assuming here as 00:00 is 12:00 am

Mr.Nicos, i did exactly like u when importing J2121Events.cvs and it's just made 2 tables which means it got errors *in date and time * , is it concerned with my Access 2016 is outdated or sth? can u give me an advice plz? anyways u r the one the of the great teachers that i had seen on online!

If you are getting 2 tables and one is with errors, open the tae with errors and see which field or fields cannot be imported. Delete both tables and import again. This time make sure you choose the correct data type for the field that was not imported before and was placed in the table with errors. It will not be yiur version of access as you are importing a csv file. Thank you for your kind words. I am glad my tutorials are helping you.

go to the J2121RESULTS table and open it in design view, then in the format section of each date and time record, type in "hh:nn:ss"

That means your criteria in the criteria is wrong. Be careful not to add spaces after the text you are adding in the criteria. Make sure to run your query before you add any criteria to make sure you get results. If you do not get results then you probably made a mistake when setting up the relationship of the tables. If you do get results then add 1 criteria and run again to check your criteria. If it works move to the next criteria and so on. let me know if this helped you resolve your problem.

Depends what the questions says. You need to read the question carefully. If it does not say 1 page then it can be more than 1 page.
