Paphos To Coral Bay - With a GoPro

A couple of days ago we published a 360 film of a drive from Paphos to Coral Bay. We have also made two more films of the journey, as an experiment. This version is recorded using a GoPro. It has better image quality than the Flat version shown yesterday, but the camera always looks dead ahead.
My question is simple: which do you prefer? The GoPro has the better resolution. However, the fixed 360 view shows more information, and is filmed using the latest Insta X4 camera, so it isn't too far behind the goPro in terms of picture quality.
I would love to hear your opinions on the two film types.

Both this version and the flat 360 version look good on a 4k TV. The picture quality is similar but the GoPro version has the edge where movement nearby, such as the road below or vehicles or shops, look sharper. The flat 360 version does have the advantage of looking at passing buildings rather than the road ahead. Some of the time you are looking at what I might choose to look at. The 360 version has the lowest resolution and doesn't look so good on my TVs. However the video quality is just about acceptable on the computer and does have the advantage of being able to look in any direction

I couldn't watch the flat 360 yesterday as the camera direction not matching the direction of movement made me feel seasick! I had to bail out. I tend to watch these on the KZbin app on my big TV and the GoPro version is significantly better quality when blown up to that size.

Thanks for this, we prefer this filming as we can watch it on the TV 'KZbin' app but it doesn't look right on the 360 versions. Can view those on my phone but we usually watch them together on the TV. Great drive, one we do a lot when we stay 🙂

Interesting video. My wife and I are planning to come to Cyprus towards the end of July this year. Staying in the Paphos area. We will probably hire a small car and I picked up your tale of loosing the number plate and you saying that the locals were being nicer to you, is it common that locals are less tolerant to hire cars? Would you be able to recommend a hire car company by the way
