As a Liverpool fan under Klopp we didn’t hold teams off defensively. We always had to blow teams away but the defensive side Slot brings is what we needed to win trophies.

If you're talking about Klopp's team last season and also the previous season, then yes we were too easy to play through. Remember how many times Alisson would end up saving the team (Kelleher too) by being amazing at denying strikers in one on ones. One or two passes and the opponents would be through on our goal. Even at Liverpool's best under Klopp it happened but we usually had more defensive workhorse types compared to our current midfield. All approaches have pros and cons.

Not really. It was because 2 of their starting back 4 were missing (suspended) which meant they had a make shift back 4. As part of the forced line up, Reece James and Lavia also came in. They could not play 90 minutes so that fire power from the bench was compromised as Enzo had to sub Reece and Lavia off as well. Normally, that would have been Nkunku, Felix, Neto and Mudryk coming on.

I’m a Liverpool fan but I think it was the right call to overturn that penalty. The goalie got the ball, he wasn’t trying to take out the player but he had to go for the ball and he got it first. VAR gets a lot of crap, and rightly so, but here I think they got it right.

no I disagree. If we were to look at other from your angle then the officiating was poor cos curtis was clearly in control pf the ball and had a lot pf time to place the ball but for some weird reasons he didn’t. So the keep had no reason to claim it was a 50-50 challenge on who gets tye ball first. It was obvious he came straight at curtis to disposes the ball from him and had a knee contact which ought to be a yellow card offense. I was just too confused why it was overturned even after watch from all angles but thank God we won
