Satoshi Kon didn't have the opportunity to direct many things in his life but the few he did direct were fantastic. I especially loved Paprika and Paranoia Agent. He had such a way with making you feel happy, sad, and disgusted all at once, like you were alone on your birthday and had to eat the entire cake.
@compedycakemine69608 жыл бұрын
+adam84144 Although I agree with you... that is a bad analogy. Although you do get to eat all the cake, you were still lonely inside. Satosshi' movies made me feel more happy than depressed....

Note for song lovers - This is called Mediational Field, The girl in byakkoya is a more chill instrument version with more male vocals and a drop filled with memories is a relaxed echoy version. I got the girl in byakkoya by accident trying to get this song so watch out lol

so, im a music producer and do a fair amount of sampling in my work, about 3 years ago i discovered an awesome sample from the berserk millenium falcon ost. it is called "sister's speech" or something similar when translated. i enjoyed that alot. just today im watching paprika for the first time and heard this track. i google find out that low and behold they are by the same artist. definitely check out that track if you like this one as they have a similar feel for sure.
