What a great illustration of some of the needs of the remote areas of PNG. Thank you for the time and effort you put into creating this video!

Thank you Dave, Aaron, Brett and Haidi for the opportunity to reminisce. I particularly liked listening to Haidi's voice. I took a patrol with about 150 carriers from Kerema to Kanobea in 1967 and stayed with Fr Besson for a while. Despite his frugal supplies Fr. Besson was a great host. At the time Fr. Besson's mission was constructed like an American frontier fort. At the end of each day it was Fr. Besson's ritual to call in his pet bush pig Merapo for safety from the countryside and close the fort doors. At which time the arrows would come raining in, sticking into the doors. According to Fr. Besson it was a friendly reminder of whose land we were in.
