Christianity didn't become the official religion of the Roman empire until 65 years after the death of Constantine. Constantine only legalized all religions which included the then persecuted religion of the Christians known as Christianity
@stephenroney36303 жыл бұрын
Christianity was declared a tolerated and protected religion in 313AD, the State Religion of the Roman Empire in 379AD and the only permitted religion in 390AD.

He is Jewish. there are only two religions in the world he would be interested in making fun of. Christians lost their backbone decades ago and will probably laugh along. And in contrast, mocking the other religion takes metal balls and serious consequences. Any sane person knows what to choose.

The same irony should apply to the Abrahamic religions (Judaism, christianity and Islam). Specifically the Torah, that has made up stories with no archaeological evidences whatsoever! Especially the Moses and Joseph stories in Egypt.

Many of the stories about Helena are probably only myths and legends. And some issues, like building of churches, are rather the works and deeds of her son Constantine.
@fretnesbutke32333 жыл бұрын
Constantine,I believe,had divided loyalties,and did his best at a personal syncretism of Jesus worship,Emperor worship,and Mithras/Apollo worship. This was a confusing, complicated time in the transition from Pagan to Christian. There were a lot of ideas in the air. All the possible paths from the teaching of Jesus were nailed down with Constantine. Without the political power of the Roman Empire behind one of many, Christianity would be very different today,and his mummy had her cultish influence.

Read the Bible and it will lead you to a lot of questions you need answered. God will and thoughts are never humans will and thoughts. God uses anyone to accomplish his mission that’s why his voice is never void. Just gave my life to Jesus on my last breath from voodoo and Jesus gave me a second chance from grace not because I was the nicest guy in my community. Scripture says what the enemy meant for evil; God meant it for good. So many people are Christian now days because of what Helena and her son did. They probably did it for their own benefit but they saved lots of soul in this sinful world we leave in. Trust me read the Holy Bible and ask God to reveal what you searching for and He will.

Inaccurate at best, gives personal opinion based of partial facts. This always happens when amateurs tries history. Horrible irrelevant footage downloaded for free from internet, hand camera shooting from intern students. Helena didn't invent pilgrimage sites as you stated. This practice was for thousands of years before Helena. Just a small reminder. Temple Of Delphi, Giant of Rhodes, Zeus Temple, Athena Temple, all these were pilgrimage sites. Christianity just replaced oldest religions keeping same practices and even dates. Birthday of God Sol become birthday of Jesus. This documentary has score 0 out 5. Indeed waste of good time.

Well, as a Western Jew I can appreciate how difficult it is to realistically believe any of these 'Roman Christian superstitions!' I say this as an American Believer in Yehsua Ha Mashiach who had done Christian tours in Israel for decades and am very familiar with all of these 'traditional Christians claims'! re Helena- if she were alive today she'd be the First to be "vaccinated on TV"! Man-made-religion whether Jewish or Christian never 'saved anyone' as The Scriptures are the only real Word of YAHWEH! By the way, for my Jewish friends- remember in your own ancient Hebraic script that; your 22nd. letter- + is really the sign of +Y (Pronounced tav) + cross & v nail !! And carried with it the meanings- sign/ mark and amazingly- 'covenant' !!! BO Yehsua
