1. Historical inaccuracies: a) The video oversimplifies Constantine's conversion and the spread of Christianity. It wasn't an overnight change but a gradual process that began before Constantine and continued after him. b) The claim that Christianity was "essentially illegal" until Constantine is misleading. While Christians faced periods of persecution, there were also times of relative peace and tolerance. c) The video ignores the fact that Constantine's Edict of Milan (313 AD) granted religious freedom to all, not just Christians. d) The absence of Christian symbols on the Arch of Constantine doesn't necessarily prove Constantine wasn't Christian. It's possible he was appealing to both pagans and Christians during a transitional period. e) The video exaggerates the similarities between Mithraism and Christianity, ignoring significant theological differences. 2. Catholic perspective: a) The Catholic Church acknowledges that Constantine's conversion was a process and that he maintained some pagan practices. This doesn't negate the significance of his role in ending persecutions and supporting the Church. b) The video implies that Constantine "created" Christianity, which is false. The Church existed for centuries before him, with established doctrines and practices. c) The suggestion that modern Christians are "worshiping a version of Jesus created by a die-hard pagan" is offensive and inaccurate. Catholic doctrine and beliefs are rooted in Scripture and Apostolic Tradition, not Constantine's personal views. d) The video ignores the role of Church councils and theologians in developing and defending Christian doctrine, independent of imperial influence. e) The presence of Christians in the Roman army before Constantine is not contradictory to Catholic teaching. The Church has always recognized that Christians can serve in the military under certain conditions. 3. Logical inconsistencies: a) The video jumps to conclusions based on limited evidence, such as assuming Constantine's lack of Christian symbols on his arch means he wasn't Christian. b) It presents a false dichotomy between "true Christianity" and Constantine's influence, ignoring the complex historical realities of the time. c) The comparison between Mithraism and Christianity is superficial and doesn't account for the fundamental differences in theology and practice. In conclusion, while Constantine's role in Christian history is significant, this video presents a sensationalized and oversimplified version of events. It ignores the complexity of historical processes and the depth of Christian theology. As a Catholic, you can be confident that your faith is not based on Constantine's personal beliefs or political maneuverings, but on the teachings of Christ and the Apostles, preserved and developed by the Church over centuries.

According to the Biblical narratives, it is a fact that Roman soldiers and Centurion (captains) were believers and followers of Jesus Christ, as you read them in the account of: a. Matthew 8:8 - a centurion ask Jesus to heal his servant (a believer) b. Matthew 27:54 - centurion soldiers acknowledge the Jesus is the Son of God (a conversion process) c. Luke 23:47 - a centurion Glorified God and believed that Jesus was a righteous man d. Acts 10:22 - Cornelius a captain of Roman soldiers a follower of Jesus Christ e. Acts 16:30 - a Roman soldier ask Paul "What must I do to be saved?" And the account above happened years before Constantine era. And Christianity was spreading like a "wild fire" even within the Roman soldiers. So, whether Constantine was truly converted or not, it is a fact that Constantine needed to please both parties within his ranks.

You call yourself a ministry? You should be stirred by the Spirit if the Spirit were in you to recognize the prostitutions of the harlot catholic church and the prostitutes that bore out of her (Rev. 17:5)... christmas, the image of the cross, counterfeit sabbaths of saturn-day and sun-day.... Why don't you speak on the word if you are in ministry? The documentary acknowledged that there were Christians in his army, but that isn't the point of the documentary. To say, "whether Constantine was truly converted or not" is absurd. He was obviously not a Christian if he added to the scroll and brought in prostitutions. Moreover, God established His own calendar and Dec isn't in it, neither does He mention Jesus' birthday, and neither does He mention names of days. He numbers days according to the moon. If you sat in His counsel and observed His actual word, you would be bothered by the fact that these things are being pitched as Christianity and you would recognize that this is the exact description of the antichrist kingdom. Shame on you for the flippant way you speak regarding God's truth!

For the Son of Man came to seek and to save what was lost. (Luke 19:10) Jesus answered them, "It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance." (luke 5:31~32) "What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go to look for the one that wandered off? (Mattew 18:12) And if he finds it, I tell you the truth, he is happier about that one sheep than about the ninety-nine that did not wander off. (Mattew 18:13) In the same way, I tell you, there is rejoicing in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents." (Luke 15:10) "On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity. (Zechariah 13:1) and the blood of Jesus, his Son, purifies us from all sin. (1 John 1:7) "Come now, let us reason together," says the LORD. "Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red as crimson, they shall be like wool. (Isaiah 1:18) "I tell you the truth, whoever hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be condemned; he has crossed over from death to life. (John 5:24) Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit of life set me free from the law of sin and death. (Romans 8:1~2) For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith--and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God-- (Ephesians 2:8) and are justified freely by his grace through the redemption that came by Christ Jesus. (Roman 3:24) This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins. (1 John 4:10) This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. (1 John 4:9) For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him. (John 3:17) Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12) For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. (John 3:16) Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come! (2 Corinthians 5:17) "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms; if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. (John 14:1~2) They replied, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved--you and your household." (Acts 16:31) Yet to all who received him, to those who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. (John 1:12) for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:13) That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. (Romans 10:9) For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. (Romans 10:10) "Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. (Mattew 7:7)

What emerges out of this pseudo conversion of Constantine is a faith that ultimately is far removed from the faith taught by the Lord Jesus and His inspired apostles in the New Covenant writings. New Covenant Christianity knows nothing of a Christian society endorsed and protected by a secular ruler or government. Nor does anyone who comes to true faith in Jesus by a vision or a dream. Romans 10:10-17. Constantine may have seen a vision or had a dream, but that is the work of Satan not God. 2 Thessalonians 2:8-14. Revelation 13:16; 16:13. Jesus said that His Kingdom is not of this world. He did not send his apostles and His disciples into the world to build a Christian civilization or particular nation states! Emphatically not.

I've been trying to tell otters about this. He centered himself, which the elites no doubt caught onto and have continued to bastardize Christianity for themselves. Christmas and Easter are pagan holidays not commanded anywhere in the Bible. They serve other gods and we're breaking the ten commandments when we celebrate them so we gotta repent. If you read Romans 1:22-27, serving other gods is the reason why we're living in Sodom and Gomorrah right now. Also check Ezekiel 20:19-21, the Sabbath is Saturday morning to Sunday morning and it's the sign between God and his people, so if you don't have that sign God is gonna pour out his fury upon you in tribulation. And read Isaiah 66:15-17, people who eat unclean like pork and shellfish are going to be consumed by fire in the tribulation. So repent from eating this stuff. And the Messiah's name isn't Jesus, it's Yeshua, he comes in the Father's name Yehovah. He warned us about another coming in his own name in John 5:42-43 because you don't have the love of God in you (the ten commandments - 1 John 5:2-3).

@CharityGal Evening and morning are not 24 hours. The KJV mistranslated it. Genesis 1:5 English Standard Version 5 God called the light Day, and the darkness he called Night. And there was evening and there was morning, the first day. 1. God works during the day 2. Evening 3. Morning - the first day (ends) Morning marks the start and end of each day of creation. The Sabbath is Saturday dawn to Sunday dawn. Biblical days begin in the morning. Leviticus 7:15 - eaten the same day, not leave any until morning. 1 Samuel 19:10-11 - tomorrow means the next morning when it's already night. Genesis 19:33-34 - "yesternight" Numbers 11:32 - a 24-hour day is comprised of day and night, followed by the next 24-hour day which begins with day. John 20:19 - the same day at evening. It can't be the same day at evening if evening begins a new day. Morning begins a new day. @lettuceman94398 ай бұрын
That was the converting force specially to how early Christianity established itself amongst the poor and downtrodden but also that Christianity actively sought out converts and inspired faith which fueled said missions from the city of the Roman empire to the mountains of Armenia. Christianity profoundly became a historic force since it completely disregarded economic and political incentives to convert kingdoms and tribes during it's early centuries and after the fall of the Western Empire.

There was appeal in a version of "Christianity" in which people didn't have to suffer anymore in persecution, but that's not the Christianity that was preached in the Gospel, so it's not a gospel that saves. We were told in the word that deception and the antichrist would establish "himself" (kingdom of satan) in the beautiful land (God's people, Dan. 11). Counterfeit Christianity is the antichrist, and it is defined as Babylon the great (catholic church that started this kingdom) and the prostitutes that bore out of her ( Rev. 17:5). When the Emperor Constantine declared himself to be the Summus Pontifex, what followed was more than ten centuries of Dark Ages, during which time people who professed Christ rather than Mary or the Popes, people who denied transubstantiation, were fed to lions or burned at the stake. During the Dark Ages, for a common person to read the Bible was a sin for which there was no forgiveness; and so the people were spoon-fed from the papist pulpit. The Bible was said to exist only in the Latin text and the common and largely illiterate people could learn the stories that were in the Bible from paintings and stained glass windows. Those who first made the Bible available in the language of the people were killed for their trouble; but when Martin Luther quoted Paul, of all people, the Protestant Reformation began. The gospel that saves is that Christ accomplished everything needed to save you from sin and death when he died on the cross for sins. The cross took your sin problem out of the way already, and through his resurrection you can have free righteousness on Christ’s behalf through faith (2 Cor 5:21, Rom 4:24-25; Rom 5:1). Do you believe this? Do you trust this gospel? By trusting his death and resurrection for your salvation and adding no other works or church traditions you are sealed with the Holy Ghost (Eph 1:13, Rom 4:5). This latter “no works” disclaimer is necessary for all those who would make God’s grace powerless to save by adding any necessary work to Christ’s finished work (e.g. baptism, confessions, prayers, experiences, etc.)

Congratulations if you believe this wholeheartedly, you’ve officially made Christ a liar by saying that the gates of hell overcame his Church. It’s genuinely incredible to me that people who profess faith in Christ have so little faith in God’s power that he couldn’t deliver Rome into the hands of the Christian Faith. The whole story of how Rome became Christian even has parallels to the Exodus of the Israelites, but with a Christian twist. The chosen people (in this case it’s the apostles and early church) flee from the oppression of the current authorities (in the OT it was Egypt, in the NT it’s Israel) into foreign, pagan lands where they overcome the native religions and peoples before establishing a kingdom dedicated to God. The big difference is that while Israel had authority to wipe out the Canaanites, the early Christians had to follow the example of Christ’s sacrifice and wait patiently for God’s deliverance. Which eventually came after 300 some odd years of collective suffering, when the leader of the land gave his empire over to God. You can’t look at that story and not see the guiding hand of the Lord behind it. This propaganda is a genuine blight on Christendom and in its ravenous hatred of Catholicism, does nothing but bring the entire validity of the Christian Faith into question by imply God is so impotent and pathetic that a mere human conquer could successfully silence his Church for over a millennium. While also simultaneously exalting those who deliver it by claiming that they just so happen to be special enough to know “the real truth of history”.

This documentary is getting a lot of facts wrong and confused: 1. They often confuse Mithras and Sol Invictus. They are two different gods and have different cults. 2. The Mithras cult has all but ceased by the time of Constantine. It peaks in the early 3rd century and phases out by 300 AD. 3. The arch of Constantine was in all likelihood NOT comissioned by Constantine, but by the senate of Rome. The Senate was pagan at this time. It is no wonder there isn't any Christian symbology on the arch. 4. The arch features mainly reused elements from other triumphal archs. The large statues with Phrygian hats are from a Trajanic monument, and are Dacian prisoners. Not Mithras priests. 5. Flavius was a very wide spread standard first name in Roman society then. It was not a family name. Constantines first name was Flavius and this did by all means not signify any connection to the Flavian dynasty. The hypothesis is thus nonsense. 6. Eusebius was not Constantines ally. Eusebius was an Arian Christian. Those guys Constantine had branded heretics at the council of Nicaea. Eusebius was even condemned to exile by Constantine. He later got admitted back and happened to be present at Constantines death, which is why ironically, he had to baptise Constantine. There simply was no other choice. Eusebius liked Constantine apparently. The other way around however, we don't know... 7. Constantine had coins minted with him as personified Sol Invictus, well into his clearly Christian era, where he also had coins with Christograms minted in parallel. It's a slow conversion as was usual back then. 8. The Sol cult is younger than Christianity. Christmas in December was known to some Christian communities before the birthday of Sol was celebrated on the 25th December. 9. We simply don't know enough hard facts about Constantine to be able to make a comment about the sincerity or direction of his beliefs. Distorted and misinformed claims such as here don't bring us closer to the truth, they contribute to veiling it further. By grossly simplifying and misinforming, they ended up distorting history more than brining any interesting new thoughts to the table.

What religion is the mentioned so close to Constantine? Maybe like Josephus he was a Jewish slave or charismatic cunning scribe . Maybe not. Cui bono other than Roman pagans? A mixed bag for Christians verily, this Constantine. I don't think tyrants and commoners change much. Listen to Joseph Campbell and think about how often movies are a lot like old movies which are like old books which are like old myths. They resonate so well that it introduces the future and current concepts so that they may be normalized incremetally. Mohammad did something similar with his monied backers over a couple decades and they two were embracing the rising reality and the preferred future, sold radical but quite CON serv ative, maybe, IMHO. A lot of humility and skepticism is rational but religion isnt rational except as intended by the victors over their vanquished. Note The vicious name-calling by the Jews against Jesus but not his arguments. Look at the slop sold as 💯 safe & effective since 20 / 20 by the double double crossers XX XX ‡ ‡.... To be bound to money and god is quite a risky complex consequential enterprise. It takes more than just the imperious but also the domestic indolent desperate hopeless and hopeful flock stuck between Iraq and hard places... IMHO.

A lot of good and fascinating points. The connections between paganism and Christianity are known, but this documentary provides a lot more detail than just the Son/Sun theology of Saturnalia. I do have an issue with the fact that they completely left out his mother Helena, who converted to Christianity when it was still outlawed. She was instrumental in not only convertine Constantine, but in spreading Christianity by virtue of a 2 year pilgrimage/exploration/excavation of the holy land in which she erected both the Church of the Nativity and Holy Sepulchre with the support of Constantine. Why go through all that trouble to validate and pay homage to the existence of Christ? There's no doubt Constantine loved himself, but hijacking Jesus to trick Christians into worshipping him is a stretch.

Terminus is almost an unheard of deity in America. There, amongst the Polytheistic relics of that " pale mother of dead empires," they have found a God whom these Romans, centuries gone by, baptized, “Terminus”. We have seen the end of him and his empire, It was said to be an attribute of this God that he must always “advance, and never recede”, So both republican and imperial Rome believed! But at length the time came, when retributive justice had become a destiny." And now the battle axe of the barbarian strikes down the conquering eagle and terminus of Rome! Whoever would know the further fate of the Roman Diety, so recently taken under the bosom of American Democracy, may find ample gratification of his curiosity, in the luminous pages of the historical accounts of “Gibbons Decline and Fall of Rome”. For what Rome was in her decline, America was in her infancy! Some good men nave attained the title, an Alfred, a Peter, a Charlemagne; but most have been great in crime and blood; an Alexander, a Pompey, a Ceasar, a Herod, a Louis, a Henry, a Frederic, a Charles, a Bonaparte, a Houston. They were great in many things; great, perhaps, in ability, great in resolution of will, great in means of influence, and striking in their results; but little in the elements of a truty great character; little in honesty, in truth, in love, mean, selfish, crafty, cruel, and implacable. They have been willing to sacrifice any amount of human life or happiness, to secure their end, and be accounted the greatest. But how poor the honor, how blood-stained the glory! how much human gore to dye their purple robes of royalty! We want civilians, not swordsmen ; Catos, not Caesars, nor Syllas at the head of Christendom and nations. We do not wish to emulate the errors of Europe, their history does not welcome repeat!

The Council of Nicaea, which OFFICIALLY established Jesus as God for the first time in Christianity, was organized by a Roman emperor named Constantine, who was a pagan and not a Christian, and was only baptized shortly before his death. 1. He chose which priests and churches would be invited, thereby arranging the "majority" and "minority" positions at the Council of Nicaea. 2. Nicaea, Anatolia, was an area where the majority of the population opposed Arianism, the doctrine that believed Jesus was not God. Thus, it is clear that Constantine did not need to be actively involved in the council, as the participants had already been "selected," the environment was "arranged," and therefore the outcome of the voting decisions was likely predictable by Constantine.

This is very interesting! You have to watch an exorcism of a woman who is part Italian. In the interrogation the chief spirit says his name is Julius Caesar, and on more interrogation confesses that behind Julius C is this spirit whose name is the spirit of death. Then it says that the baptism of this woman was done to him, to the spirit of death. In other words, the baptism of this woman was not to God or Jesus but dedicated to this evil spirit called death. The religious man had to cancel the baptism to the spirit of death in order for the woman to be free of the torment. The other piece of info is that the demon said that he still rule Rome, and it made the feast showing as Julius C would do. If this baptism was done to this spirit, the rest of baptisms also. It just happened that it was constrained to talk. Also the spirit was establishing the grounds for his legal right to stay inside the woman. I conclude with the theme of your video, that the paganism was just covered up with symbols of …. Or better said all the symbols of the paganism were transferred into the Christian religion because Jesus had no symbols at all. No images, no saints, nothing. He was baptized when he was 30 y. o. So, no baby baptisms…

Peter told us that God requires repentance. Jesus told people to repent. The only reason they were casting out spirits was to reveal that Jesus was the Messiah, which is why they told the people in whose name they cast the spirits out. Why would you teach people to depend on you and not teach them about repentance, which is what Jesus taught? You are not serving God, that's why

The connection between white nationality and mainstream Christianity has deep esoteric roots. Theologically, Christianity is accessible to the masses yet retains links to mystery religions like we see on this video. For instance, amongst many earlier bibles including the Ethiopia's Bible suggests Christ never claimed to be God. The truth may lie in humility, not division or superiority. Religions should promote peaceful coexistence and kindness, as intolerance is not the way of God. Interestingly, Even Mohammad, the final prophet in Islam, did not claim to be greater than the mighty prophets before him, only the last ordained messenger. in fact Islam mentions Jesus and Mary more often than Mohammad, viewing Jesus as the Messiah while earlier bibles show jesus in a much humble light , diverting obsessives away to the acknowledgement of God rather then him self. While religions like Islam believes in Jesus' ascension and living status with God, Christianity emphasizes his torture, death, descent into hell, and resurrection. In fact these are fundamental contemporary western Christianity concepts regarding ''Salvation'' and ''sin''. Constantine’s integration of Mithraic worship into Christianity emphasized the "son" over the "source and rejected the older Arianism orthodoxy at the council of nicaea ," This divine-human kingship, idea of Jesus where man mingles with gods, creating Nobel hybrid ruling class beings are followers of current esoteric bloodline worship they pay homage to in Hollywood movies like da Vinci code and Prometheus . they are also related to esoteric Gnosticism and Rosicrucian idea's and countless Illuminati Annuniki documentaries, pyramid structure hidden in plain sight promoting esoteric practices under the guise of mainstream faith. If God is all-powerful and good, why would his teachings have a hidden side accessible only to a chosen few?
