Go through you house and thoroughly clean it. Throwing out empty paint cans, and duplicates like toothbrushes, screw drivers. You will be amazed as you create more and more order, that you will see things you cannot understand why you are keeping and things that bring you great joy that you have not seen in years . It will give you a really good idea of the practical advice of Jesus. It is almost mystic. You will realize just how much money you and I waste, and how what you have that you never valued but for a short time. Now change your spending habits, you will almost have to when you realize the shallowness of buying things in ourselves. Then the money you save( keep a ledger) give this rather large amount to your church or charity, then your whole way of looking at buying and the wastefulness we as a nation have become! We have become a very shallow nation , buying just for buying. This parable will change your life if followed , I promise. And your charity giving will bless you , those truly needy and Jesus himself!
