Hiya true the ocean in peru is between 8-10 degrees celcius colder than the Atlantic Ocean at the same latitude in Brazil, this allows 3-4 times more growth of fitoplancton to feed fish and all sea creatures, so Perús ocean is rich timing with many fish types to feed the population although most is exported, peru has plenty of fish to spare to feed the world!
