Njambi Sue it’s now a year and I tried this entire year to still be there and supportive and his friend only. I know people who know and love me worried about me taking that approach. But we are not together at all and we still talk pretty much daily. We share a daughter so it was important to keep things caring and friendly for everyone’s sake. Iove the softness and simplicity of this song... especially when i can agree 1000% with the lyrics. At the same time, the lyrics also have this way of slightly pissing me off. I think about how truly simple it could've been to have saved relationships but instead energy was put into creating a way to gain ENDLESS insight as for the window to my soul. In return. The exact opposite is put in place for you. (What a nice security blanket you have there 😤 And to think about all the time it took, and all the lies told, and all the resentment that formed when all you really had to do was love me better. When relationships are built solid from the very foundation, they last a lifetime.
