I used a 4ft cutting and was left with 18 inches I needed to cut so I'd say a 33 inch scrap will do you perfectly

How do you tighten up the emperor knot mine never comes out lime yours did

just take it slow. It works best to tighten down the snake knot portion of this knot first, and then tighten the extra loops afterward. Hope that helps!

You go so fast on the knot below the diamond knot stopper is unclear. I am a true beginner, and I want to do the Paracord buddies, one each for my grandsons. Help

That knot is a little tricky! The part that was sped up in the video was just tightening the knot. If you want to see how to tie it slower, you can tap the gear icon if you are on computer or the three dots on mobile to change the playback speed. Hope that helps!

Well i liked it but i guess as it is my design, how could i not. Oh by the way i gave Tim permission to do a video, you neither asked or even bothered to mention the original designer. Maybe you need to read your own "rules" on the Paracorner (as per below) and have a think about is the way you have conducted yourself inline with how you expect others to behave? Hi Janek, KZbin has a feature that slows down the video. Just click the gear if you are on a desktop computer, or the three dots if you are on mobile. You should then see an option that says "Playback Speed". Hope that helps!

I did this at scouts and I found the video unhelpful, uninteresting and downright unnescessary it goes to quick theough some sections surely this guy can find a more efficient and explainable way of teaching this skill. The keychain in its self was basic boring and one to big waste of paradord. I hope you improve further videos earned a dislike from me
