That looks amazing and thanks for the idea for adjustable dog collar and been making the collars for a bit and been looking for a way to make them adjustable and yes you guys should make kits.

Complete kit would be great. Maybe make the color choice be an option/drop down arrow for primary & secondary colors - doesn't have to be your full menu of colors, I think a dozen or so of each (solid, pattern, reflective, g-i-t-d) would be enough for most people. If they want a color combo not available they can always buy the individual pieces.

For the sanctified dog collars I make, the main colors for "sanctified" part of the weave, I use 1 foot of cord per weaved inch. For the chain or falls weave down the middle I use 9 inches of cord per weaved inch. This usually puts me spot on without too much left over or not having enough cord…

Yes a lot would be wonderful. color packs, neutrals, neon, primary and secondary colors, a variety is always nice. Great idea Great coller, 👍👏

Would definitely purchase a kit. would be helpful. Would like the kit to include the board. I have been making bracelets for years and just tape the cords down. the board would be a great asset.

Instead of using the webbing for adjustments, I made some modifications using all paracord and increased lengths to 20 and 80 inches for a 22" collar. used 2 color trilobite weave instead of webbing for adjustment side of the collar 1-inch buckle and tri-glide with o-ring

Excellent idea! I used a straight baby sanctified for my adjustable area and then a modified sanctified for the rest of the collar… unfortunately. The baby sanctified area was too thick to get through the buckle… I had to go back and remake the collar using 325 cord for the adjustable baby sanctified length and then back to the 550 for the remainder of the collar… this wouldn’t have had to been done if I was using side release buckles like these… but customer wanted classic metal tongue belt buckles and not side release buckles… sigh…

Hello, thanks for the video. Just one small enquiry, what to do with the loose end of the adjustable strap. We cannot let it hang loose.

Love this! Any colors would work. The bright center cord is a nice safety feature.

Does the webbing strap stay in place fairly well like this? I don’t have a sewing machine to make the “x box” you often see…

If your dog is a 20in around the neck how do you multiply to get the inches of paracord to use
@ParacordPlanet3 жыл бұрын
The collar made in the video was 20in. That means the woven portion was about 13in (The webbing 7in). It used about 30ft of the main color cord, and 10ft of the second color. So if you divide 40ft total cord by 13in woven length, you get about 3ft of cord needed for every inch of weave.

If I would make this with 3 different colors one color will be centered in the middle but would the two on the outside mix? Or are they staying at the same side?
@ParacordPlanet3 жыл бұрын
They would definitely mix. You can see how they cross over the middle here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/p5qQh2yZlrGjbdk

Make a bracelet with this weave
@richardsees31773 жыл бұрын
I made this one his tutorial is poor he flips the webbing around maybe for an advanced Webber they can do it I had to break it down twice it is very easy to put a ring in the middle as it shows off your collar's color using the ring on the end put the color under the dog's neck you talk to fast if you want a beginner to try it slow down and it is best on a jig for a jig I used a 2x4 with a screw at one end and where you want to start I used the ring only and added the webbing later the webbing get in the way so he made a 20" collar but he said 50' cut in half then later he said 75' and it took me almost 30 min to find the right accessories but your idea is great its too confusing for a newb
