So this is where I hang my hat. I’m done. There is no topping this. It’s all over. No one will ever reach this level of uniqueness and overall creativity. The level of detail and underlying themes is mind blowing. The concept is out of this world. My friend, you are nuts and I love it. Every frame. Every reference. Every dialogue choice. The way it all connected. Bravo. Standing ovation. Thank you for such an amazing story. Thank you for this.

Anyone mind explaining this to me? Only thing I got is that Ultron was Jesus, Neo, and all these other characters from the past? Very confusing for me.
@moonwolftv52647 жыл бұрын
IraqUpBeaches the whole thing is that there has been one hero, one savior, one creator in a lifetime to save humanity. But humanity doesn't care about those heros. Instead humanity spits in the face of that hero. Just like when they hung Jesus on the cross. Or when they treated superman and dr manhatan like shit. All the great saviors have come together in one body, which is Ultron. And with them all being together they plan on destroying humanity. And in the beginning of the video when Jane was dreaming about death, that was ultron killing everyone. So at the end of all of this, our saviors are tired of us treated them like shit when all they do is try to help us.

@jplegend986 жыл бұрын
The whole video takes place in the matrix. This is a new one. The 8th matrix. Neo died in the 7th and was reborn as superman making him the one, when he died the programme uploaded itself into starks ultron program. When the first order invaded flash time traveled to stop them however in doing so he allowed ultron to be created. Ultron became self aware and he remembers the previous lives of the previous ones (jesus, Manhattan, neo, superman ect) and decided his best bet was to destroy everyone in the matrix amd make a new one. So he kills proffesor x and uses cerebro and the matrix to destroy everyone in the matrix. Thus Rebooting the matrix allowing him to make a new one in his image. Thats my take on it.
@thekrakenexperiment2806 жыл бұрын
CO2 Hazard I kinda see it differently. I do agree that each “savior” is treated terribly in their given worlds and that Ultron is the newest version of them. However, I don’t think that Ultron is all of the previous saviors put together planning on destroying the planet. Figures like Jesus and Superman would never decide to destroy humanity, no matter how bad things get. Rather, I see the saviors as kind of passing on the torch to the next. The Architect gives Ultron the same goal as the others, make world peace. However, Ultron misinterprets this as destroying humanity, which he succeeds at. We know this isn’t what the Architect wanted since he turns off the Matrix after this, either to create a new world or just to give up. (Also, I know this response is a year late, just thought I’d give my own take.)

Would it be possible for you to post an in depth explanation of this video? I understand the overall plot but the details escape me like flash's significance and the order of the paracosms because it makes it look like Neo took place after Superman in The Truth but it's evident at the end that that is not the case. There's also the thing with Wolverine at the end which seems out of place/unneeded and adds further confusion. All that being said, this is a phenomenal piece of content and what you did with Ultron at the end blew my mind! I've already watched this video multiple times, I love it.
@Darkmonolith7 жыл бұрын
I might be willing to at some point but so much of it is designed to be interpreted based on the viewers own personal experience. There is a bit of story that was removed but i'm debating if i'd ever want to make that information known.
@velvetthunder41506 жыл бұрын
Within the beginning of the video, It is outlined that humanity had created a machine that would sustain their forms without the option of extended human civilizations to sustain one another as in the previous model of human living. Once humanity remained subservient to the machines, which originated from the technology and A.I. started in the film "Ex Machina", the A.I.'s eventual descendants become the hivemind machine that was the Machine in the Matrix Trilogy, all commandeered by the Architect. To better understand how and why humans behaved the way they did in the broad scope of human history, the Architect inserted several storyline/histories within humanity. Within these stories, several figures represented the central representative aspects of the human psyche, all explained in the montage given by the Architect to Neo. Starting with the first key, Jesus Christ was to come and revamp the state of human consciousness by offering himself as an antidote to their failures and sins, only with his program failing to take hold. Several more programs were inserted, altered to meet the varying natures of humanities creative and destructive natures, from The Watchmen, the DC and Marvel Universes, all to the expansive stories of Star Wars. Before all this, all the mythologies of said stories were meshed together and combined to tell one cohesive story. By the start of this one, Superman had perished at the hands of Luthor's Doomsday, before any other Avenger/JL/X-Men members are able to help him destroy it. His death pushed Tony Stark and Bruce Banner to create another A.I. (already an A.I. within an A.I.), to help act as the world's new Superman. Before they could finish said the program, the new First Empire emerging from deep within the cosmos launched an attack while the forces of Earth remained in disarray, all foreseen by the X-Man member Jean Grey. WIth the foreseen knowledge of her abilities both creative and destructive, the leader of the Empire, Snoke, launches a full frontal invasion on Earth, leading to a war between the Empire and the Heroes of Earth. After understanding her increasing power's, Kylo Ren convinces to destroy the Earth before the enemy realizes the upper hand they possess. Before Starkiller base is able to destroy the planet, the Flash is sent back in time to prevent these attacks by the remaining contingency of heroes, thus fulfilling Jean Grey's visions. But instead of the past, The Flash is sent beyond his universe into the higher plane of the Matrix storyline, briefly meeting Neo and getting briefed by a higher intelligence on the true nature of the universe and human consciousness. Within his brief run, he attains said knowledge and returns to the past before the invasion of the empire and after the death of Superman. His interaction with the "space-time" continuum, he shifts the tide leading to the sooner realization of the ULTRON intelligence. However, unlike Superman, Ultron remains indignant of humanity's future, opting to reveal the wider and darker truths of human consciousness and bring forth the lasting peace the Architect had hoped to attain. But peace to him was a world without conflict, and a world without conflict is a world without humanity. Drawing to said conclusion, he invades the X-Mansion to access Cerebro and connect with every human still alive and ensnared within the Matrix. To counteract said plans, the X-Men send Wolverine back in time through Kitty Pryde's temporal powers to shift the storyline and bring salvation to humanity. Wolverine is resurrected/transferred as Neo in the higher Matrix Universe, while the world below battles Ultron. And as Ultron gains the upper hand, he succeeds in linking up to all of humanity within the Matrix and immediately killing all of human life. Thus, killing water is left of humanity fulfilled his initial mission of peace through one being, as ordained since the programming of Jesus Christ, Dr. Manhattan, Donnie Darko, and Superman. And unlike the Matrix, everyone linked to the Machine dies while Neo (Wolverine) remains alive with the Architect. The Architect met with yet another failure, opts to abandon the project entirely by turning the machine off.

To be honest, this was pretty good. It had potential and lots of creativity but the execution and concept was generic. I'm glad that there are more storytelling editors that are expressing their creative side rather than just having a bunch of action/flight clips. However, I feel this concept is overused and the ending is predictable and impotent kind of like Shyamalan twist (IMO), it could've been impactful for you and others but I've seen concepts like this and it was foreseeable so maybe that's just me. I also feel like there was no character development in the story just backgrounds and that's it, no internal/external conflict, no resolution, etc nothing to make you feel for the character(s). I really respect the effort you put in this and there were a lot of good features with the editing like the interactions, titlecards, effects, so that was some well put aspects into this project. Just giving a critique analysis and it's just my opinion, I hope for the best in your future projects.
@Darkmonolith7 жыл бұрын
4TheMarauders What aspect was generic? In detail like what way? What concept are you referring to? I never intended there to be twists as the opening blatantly tells you the outcome and everything is a visual synopsis leading up to it. The goal wasn't to set up character development so I gladly glossed over that. A great deal of this is designed to play with the mythology of the matrix as well as today's understanding of pop culture. A pop culture mix tape filled to the brim with abstract ideas that enhance the mythology of the matrix
@Darkmonolith7 жыл бұрын
4TheMarauders The superficiality of this video is symbolic for how our current generation views nerd culture. It's merely an extension of the matrix and an alteration of the worlds we're already familiar with. Your critiques are fair but they're difficult to rationalize in context to my intent. You seem to be approaching this from the exact opposite of how it was intended to be seen. But everyone has a different perspective on things and The video is slowly but surely serving its purpose beyond superficial entertainment so it seems to be working. There was no set way to handle the structure I created for the video outside of my intent due to the fact that I didn't adhere to a known fan structure online. But you did say that you've seen this concept overused and I'm curious because I've looked online and everywhere for a concept similar to this and found nothing. I'd be very interested to see what you're referring to
@Darkmonolith7 жыл бұрын
4TheMarauders And also which concept. I implemented several within the video. But at the end of the day this video definitely isn't for everyone and I'm glad you took the time to watch this. I do agree that this is mediocre in many ways which is sad because I would love to see more trailers and fan edits that weren't limited to the mundane of films we're likely going to get anyway. I'm certainly by no means a great editor but I was happy to give people something more than the obvious generic comic book movie fan trailer. Just seemed more fun to call out the superficiality of things like that while adding to a beloved mythology. So while the execution is far from perfect I think I did okay enough with not wasting anyone's time with another generic marvel or DC trailer. But I really do appreciate your comment. I love talking about Paracosm and I hope people continue to delve into it further as it was meant to.
@4TheMarauders7 жыл бұрын
Thank you for your comment, it totally gave me a better understanding of this. I enjoyed your interpretation of the Matrix mythology and the influence it has on the other worlds and the environment it has on it physically and spiritually. I believed it was a bit generic how Ultron in the end, causes mankind's denouement, it's just that I've seen films/fan trailers with a similar aspect to that, even my Avengers 2049 (which I wasn't proud of) was relatable to the ending and that was influenced by many different films like Alphaville, Stalker, etc. I've seen fan trailers where the apocalypse was caused by someone else like Superman after having a war with a resistance and stuff like that and I wasn't a fan of those projects because it's been played or overused. Even though you had a different approach to the other trailers on a conceptual level, the ending and theme is in a way similar. I didn't expect there to be twists and surprises but I was just disappointed that it was predictable because I've heard that this was something innovative, creative, and thought provoking. In the end, I just felt that it was creative at most parts. I may be approaching this the wrong way because I probably focus on more of a structured/subliminal storyline when I'm dealing with the finale of my large scale projects and you focus on something that interests you when dealing in the same situation so that's probably why I didn't love this video. Also, is there more to your intention/message of this project than to have pop culture enhanced by the Matrix? Because during my first viewing, I believed the message to be different but I guess I misinterpreted. Lastly, I understand that you wanted to focus entirely on the environment of The Matrix and it's mythology, but if the sci-fi setting you created influenced or impacted a character in a sub-plot leading to the resolution, I feel like it could've been vivid to your audience. I respect and admire that you go beyond the typical fan story/trailer structure and I mean no disrespect to you or this project, we're just different storytellers/viewers and usually I enjoy other artist's content that's different from my tone/style and taste but I feel like this an extensive story with no significance when creating with a sci-fi world and the society around/adaption to it. I'm just a big sci-fi fan and I love to see something that can make me think or even sometime entertain me on a high level once in a while when high scale projects release but this is still a pretty good fan edit. I apologize if this is long, tried to make it as short as possible.
