The thing that makes Steven such a good drummer is not only his natural groove, but when he plays drum fills they really add to the song and become an essential part of the music. A lot of drummers just play intricate drums fills every 20 seconds and it doesn't really do anything for the song!

Steven Adler is one of the best drummers around, he has his own style and sounds beast, proper locks into a groove and you can instantly tell when steven is playing, not only that, he looks super awesome too.
@steves2176Ай бұрын
Steven just feels the music and always applies the perfect groove, fills and cymbal crashes that are all very appropriate for the song he's playing. He has the knack of creating a relatively basic beat and adding accents and fills in a way that are powerful, noticeable and frankly sets the vibe of the entire song, without having to be overly flashy (which is were so many drummers go wrong). His polish while playing is admirable. So comfortable behind the kit. Loose, relaxed and seeming to be really enjoying himself! You can tell that he is well practiced and without any glitches. His sound is a driving force that makes you bob your head up and down from really hitting home! I like this guy! Everybody has issues now and then in their lives, if his was drug abuse then obviously he's gotten it together so good for him. Applause! Guns N Roses has to miss him because the only really great songs they did was the result of him being behind the kit!! And shame on them for apparently not recognizing that and for not standing up and supporting/helping their brother!

I have NO idea why he is not part of the reunion! I'm not a drummer, maybe someone can explain: Is there something bad in his playing that would not be enough for GnR? To me it's a very powerful and decent playing.
@saulhudson302 Жыл бұрын
Yeah apparently he fucked Axl's wife but he says its not true. So I guess that's why he ain't part of it and not because of drugs or whatever they said besides you watch a video after they did UYI 1 & 2 Duff ,Slash , scrotum , all smashed on something even on stage.Slash and Duff couldn't hardly speak at times. You know why Izzy is gone '1 was cause Micheal got kicked out , he couldn't gel with other Drummers that's why Popcorn is the best.
@larrycourtney8893 Жыл бұрын
No, Adler has always been a rock-solid drummer. He's not fancy or particularly technical at all, but he lays down a killer groove, with great feel and he knows that's what he does best. I think the reason he's not in GnR anymore is just personality shit related to the groups earlier heyday, when he was a real mess in his personal life w dope and booze. He's not like that anymore, but some people don't want to let him forget it, evidently. I've always enjoyed his playing, and he seems like a really good guy. Too bad, we gotta forgive people in this life...
