My name is Noelle, I'm currently only 16 years into this horrible life of mine. In late January, 2015, I lost my little sister Amelie at her young age of 11, since then this year has been extremely rough for me and my family.. I come from a broken home, and a rough past that really no one should ever have to go through including physical and sexual abuse. Early Febuary I had written out a suicide note and was ready to do it, I was going to kill myself. I remember the year this song came out. It was one of the worst and darkest years I've been through. Things were about the same for about 7 years after and it wasn't until a few months ago that I truly felt better and happier and now i treasure every day that comes. I'm in a much better place than where I was and I'm very grateful. I went through 2 suicide attempts, years of being outcasted, abused, call worthless. Useless. Stupid. Hopeless. Waste. Of. Life. And I'm here, and I survived. The trick is to just remember that one day it will get better. The tough part is getting through it, because once you're past the worst of it, you can't explain how you got better, you just DID IT. And you did it on your own. And the best part? If you can get through that, you can get through anything. Me? I went through a lot of shit to get where I am now. I was the kid in the back of the class, with his head down and earbuds in. I wasn't strong physically, and I'm still not, and I wasn't a great student. So remember: the people who think they aren't smart or strong enough turn out to be the wisest and most self-sufficient people out there. I have an abundance of friends. I'm attractive, I can say that, as in high school I never would have thought of myself as anything but an ugly piece of shit. But you grow out of it. And things get better, life moves on. Hell, even if you liked someone waaaay back who didn't like you then, guess what? They come back to you, and then you get to tell THEM no. Or yes, sometimes. Everyone is welcome on this stage that we call life. It's time we start living it. :)

I don’t remember what happened exactly but there was one night after mass where I just stayed in the church long after everyone left and just sat in a pew alone and I remembered this song. Actually listening to it in a empty church like in the video made it even more powerful than normal when I’m just sitting in my room and I was able to just let everything I was feeling out and cry and listen to lyrics and knowing that it would pass was so comforting. I wish I had discovered them while they were still together and gotten to see them in concert so I could thank them in some way.

Sam's very aware of depression self harm suicide ,ect . yeah theres this guys who goes to my CCYC his name is JT Mills and I literally thought he was Sam Miller so I freaked out and I went back last week again and he acted weird around me and in the prayer circle he held me hand like a couple loop but he like 2 years older than me and I like him hes always looking at my scars and on Thursday night I asked him at camp fire if I ate 8 fire balls at once if I would die hes said he hoped not but I shouldn't and I did and I didn't have water and then I guess he saw on my shirt that my tonge was bleeding and he literally yelled at me to spit them out I thought he just hated me but then I realized he was tryingto make sure I wouldn't die because he also saved me from a suicide attempt because I had fell in the grass outside and yelled his name and few others he found me crying moments from death and he made me throw up but I thought he hated me cause after I got baptized he was the only councler who didn't hug me and said they loved me and I said I was freeing cold and he said "im freezing cold and im not even soaking wet " I got so mad amd sad I started crying and running away but im still very unsure about hm hes 15 im 13 almost 14 but I think he hates me and im scared because I didn't tell my parents I redecated my self to god but yeah im afaried they tell my parents about my scars and my baptism
