I spent four days at Andaz Costa Rica Resort last Christmas. It was located within the exclusive Peninsula Papagayo community on Costa Rica’s north Pacific coast. The resort offers four restaurants, a spa, four pools, including an adults only pool; three pristine beaches, Andaz Beach House and a complimentary Cambi Kids Club.
The resort and our room were amazing. This was by far the best resort experience I've had. The staff were so friendly and accommodating. I would love to return on my next Costa Rica trip.

We went in late Dec and the weather was great! It seems like late Aug would be in the rainy season for Papagayo beach-weather.com/Central-America/Costa-Rica/Guanacaste-Region/Peninsula-Papagayo/averages/

What airport did you land in and how long did it take to get from the airport to the hotel?

We landed in San Jose and drove about 5hr? In total. We stayed at La Fortuna for 2 days. It should be much closer from the Liberia airport (
