I AM A LOSTHAWAIIAN UP HERE IN SOUTH DAKOTA BUT I AM FIGHTING EVERYDAY FOR HAWAIIAN SOVEREGNITY, USING MY BRAINS, INSTEAD OF MY FISTS, BUT I WILL IF I HAVE TOO. HAWAIIAN

I know that this is a very old post, but I felt prompted to reply anyways. I was born and raised on the California coast (where I still reside), and I have only recently discovered the history behind the Kanaka Maoli blood within me. I am more Tongan that anything else, but I was raised in a Hawaiian environment as best as my busy parents could provide - and because of that, the Kanaka Maoli in me sings the loudest. I have been heartbroken as I have discovered the darker and whispered history behind me; but I look forward with pride as I plan to educate myself on my roots, and eventually join hands with Brothers and Sisters everywhere to continue to fight for the Land and People. Much Love.

I like this song. I always play this song. It tells the people who have no respect for the aina n has a bad attitude towards people who belong on the island like these people that moved from other states to big island is trying to take over big island n rules n make it mainland rules n laws. Kick there ass of this island.

Aloha!!! For all to know: 1. United Nations recognizes The Hawaiian Kingdom is belligerently occupied. (Mahalo Keanu Sai and Leon Siu) 2. BLNR Language Access Language Coordinator Dean Aoki ADMITS he "..was under orders from (TMT Hearings-BLNR Hearing Officer) Ricki Mae Amano) NOT TO ALLOW A HAWAIIAN LANGUAGE INTERPRETER. 3. STATE OF HAWAII COURT SYSTEM UNDER 19 MONTH INVESTIGATION BY DOJ for no "Hawaiian Language Interpreter Cards" after DOJ gives Grant to HI Courts and State. 4. The BLNR Lease to Univ. Of Hawaii has no signature of approval from Dept of Hawaiian Homelands; when Mauna Kea is 5f (DHHL). 5. THE Law of 1872 (kingdom law) is now HRS 172-11 "RIGHTS OF HEIRS (OF ROYAL PATENT/LCAw inure even if land was alienated..."

I don't have the blood in my veins and do not call myself Hawaiian but Havaii is where I was born and I love the island and its people, so if we are not Hawaiian by blood, can we not care of the place we were born? please answer cuz dis doesn't make any sense, then where can we call our home??????
@chokebeer52968 жыл бұрын
+Takeshi Miyagi the term hawaiian is confused with kanaka maoli . one being the name of a nationality the other being a race . anyone born in hawai'i or naturalized aka living in the area of the hawaiian archipelago for 3 or more years or so [according to the constitution of the hawaiian kingdom] can become a citizen of the hawaiian kingdom therefore being hawaiian .
@dillonkealiichidester86278 жыл бұрын
Israel Kamakawiwo'ole often addressed the Kanaka Maoli as "the Hawaiian in blood" and the Haole who love the Kanaka Maoli, their culture, and their land as "the Hawaiian at Heart". Looking at it this way, you are Hawaiian at Heart. You have come to love and respect the Indigenous and our customs, therefore - in the true Spirit of Aloha - you should be welcomed and loved as a care-taker of the Land, and another part of the Human Family. Be proud of that :)

The word " Haole " has nothing to do with color! It's the way you act! Malama The Aina and It's True Hawaiian People (the Locals) who have suffered and died, to preserve it to be, what people from all over the world come here to enjoy....

Haole means foreigner. Could be anyone who does not have native hawaiian blood. Just cause you born in the islands, no make you a hawaiian.

If you not pure then cannot really talk. If you not pure then you needed foreigners blood to be born.
@tinkertanner165 Жыл бұрын
@@leviagcalon3821you clearly don’t understand then, not pure blood? Lmao, brah you dumb as fuck. If hawaiian blood get foreign blood thats because the Hawaiians bloodline was being decimated by foreign illness to begin with and pure blood population was dwindling and all that can do was intermix by then. Almost all thats left that CAN talk is mix blood. Think before you talk babooz

I guess there's some bad Hawaiians 1 here is going with a haole from the mainland that haole moved on the big island n she's younger than the Hawaiian guy. That's shame on him 1 Hawaiian taking advantage of a young girl. That Hawaiian broke da Aloha.
