There are authentic hadith which are placed in Bukhari & then there are unauthentic hadith. I THINK the 72 virgins come from one of the books of unauthentic hadith which no one believes. The 72 virgin lie was popularised by the western media.

It looks like you have not read it completely. I will recommend you to read it again before making a decision. We believe in One God. We believe in the Akhira(Judgement day, life after death). Why we call this "judgement day". Because on that day Allah is going to separate the evil from good. Everyone, on that day, is going to be answerable even the messengers of Allah will come forward and they will give their clarity that they have told the people message of Allah that to believe in One and do not make partners with him. Why you are saying that we are all going to be in heaven everyone who wronged himself will be answerable to Allah with his command.

I do not think that you understand the correct interpretation. The Koran says who protects himself from the desires forbidden in the world will receive in the last (Paradise) .. Do you think that one can unite 20 women .. I think this metaphorical expression of the extent of bliss in the paradise of food and drink and Wives .. I'm sorry my friend but we need to be honest and criticize our dogmas, beliefs, traditions. Muhammad had 12 wifes and lot of slave women so the idea of 72 virgins is not far from him. Now, an Arab man from 7th century can have lot of wives but not a holy man. There is nothing holy or extraordinary in Quran, it even talks about such small things yet it doesn't banned slavery. Arabs had lot of "prophets" back than. Like Tulayha ibn Khuwaylid or Musaylimah. But Muhammad won against them. He was not a prophet, but indeed he was a clever liar and great commander.

Gutman Locks Ok first you have put fourth several passages about eating and drinking which does not equate to Gluttony otherwise we all are practicing gluttony our entire life. Next having pure, beautiful companions or helpers because those two words are used interchangeably does not equate sexual relations all of which are describing to finite minds what can not be conveyed otherwise about the infinite, scholars know that a spiritual body can not enjoy physical pleasures nor can the physical body enjoy spiritual pleasures like basking in G-d’s presence. Anyways I’m a firm believer in Hashem and also opened minded enough to study other faiths to see exactly what they believe and their traditions many sheikhs have set down over the years like our rabbis to bring understanding to the verses of the Quran and the Torah. If you want to make a better to prove Judaism has a better view of afterlife this is how I would present it: Which religion is able to offer better arguments for the existence and the nature of an afterlife? Furthermore which religious doctrine is able to base it’s arguments on divine text as opposed to hearsay? Is the Jewish view more coherent than the Islamic, then how so? Which version of the afterlife presence the most Just view of God? Or does one version treat certain ethnic groups more favorable than the other? Why would Hashem in his infinite wisdom raise the phyiscal body again knowing that it depends on needs such as eating, sleeping, sexual Intercourse only for the raised person to experience the presence of God? This Is where you will say, yes but G-d will raise the body but it will not be dependent upon eating and drinking and bodily functions anymore. Well then, as per your logic He would be much better off to just allow the person to inherit Olam Ha Ba in his spiritual form because all he would do is be in the presence of God. A true righteous Jew does not behave as you do, absolutely not. Those who live in glass houses should not throw stones. You claim heaven will only be spiritual through your argument yet Judaism teaches the resurrection of the physical body. No surprise there Moshe rebbainu dealt with your kind of people and foresaw you too: "I have seen these people," the LORD said to Moses, "and they are a stiff-necked people. (Exodus: 32: 9) For I know how rebellious and stiff-necked you are. If you have been rebellious against the LORD while I am still alive and with you, how much more will you rebel after I die! sir actually the teachings in islam and jews are same but the people have differentiated in it, the virgin reference you are talking about are from Hadith whereas the Holy book which God revealed is Torah and Qur'an. If we study both books, we will see that they have similarties because single God had revealed both books to his messengers. There is only a God who sent messengers (including Abraham, Moses, David, Solomon etc and completed the religion on Muhammad), Islam and Jews are not different, they are all of single religion. God said in Qur'an (Aali-Imran:95): Say: "Allah speaketh the Truth: follow the religion of Abraham, the sane in faith; he was not of the Pagans." first of all the talk of the pleasures of heaven just means we have more details about heaven than you, you have made it out to be spiritual only. What the Quran says is that we will have something similar to what we had on Earth but the one with the least ranking in heaven has at least 10x of all that was on Earth and better, so this is about the body reward, we have a soul reward also. The spiritual/soul it also talks of this concept of enjoying his presence as he will be in the sky like a moon/sun radiating, with a throne having angels circulating it, and that he has a face that is covered and he will reveal it. So the greatest pleasure is spiritual/God himself in heaven. Not the food and drink and wives, that's the reward for the body!

One thing I don’t understand when ppl talk about good person (staying away from immorality in this life) getting beauty spouse in Islam why do they talk about it so negatively. So he gave them to her, and he came to her, and she conceived his likeness. יחוַיֹּ֗אמֶר מָ֣ה הָעֵֽרָבוֹן֘ אֲשֶׁ֣ר אֶתֶּן־לָךְ֒ וַתֹּ֗אמֶר חֹתָֽמְךָ֙ וּפְתִילֶ֔ךָ וּמַטְּךָ֖ אֲשֶׁ֣ר בְּיָדֶ֑ךָ וַיִּֽתֶּן־לָ֛הּ וַיָּבֹ֥א אֵלֶ֖יהָ וַתַּ֥הַר לֽוֹ 15 یُہوداؔہ اُسے دیکھ کر سمجھا کہ کوئی کسبی ہے کیونکہ اُس نے اپنا مُنہ ڈھانک رکّھا تھا ۔ 16 سو وہ راستہ سے اُسکی طرف کو پِھرا اور اُس سے کہنے لگا کہ ذرا مُجھے اپنے ساتھ مباشرت کر لینے دے کیونکہ اِسے بالکل نہیں معلوم تھا کہ وہ اِسکی بہُو ہے۔ اُس نے کہا تو مجھے کیا دیگا تا کہ میرے ساتھ مُباشرت کرے؟۔ 17 اُس نے کہا مَیں ریوڑ میں سے بکری کا ایک بچہّ تُجھے بھیجدونگا۔ اُس نے کہا اُس کہ اُسکے بھیجنے تک تُو میرے پاس کچھ رہن کر دیگا؟۔ 18 اُس نے کہا تُجھے رہن کیا دوں ؟ اُس نے کہا اپنی مُہر اور اپنا بازو بند اور اپنی لاٹھی جو تیرے ہاتھ میں ہے۔ اُس نے یہ چیزیں اُسے دِیں اور اُس کے ساتھ مُباشرت کی اور وہ اُس سے حامِلہ ہوگئی۔ *Yahoodi product of fornication*
