I think it could be used...it is for sure strong enough although I would recommend checking with your local building code and putting in a cross brace in the middle! Thank u for this great comment and for watching!

Had a fence like this put up last fall. Looks great - but if you have small dogs put 3”x3” or smaller hog wire in. I chose 4” and just watched the chihuahua squeeze thru one of the openings 🤯🤬
