It *is* easy to build sandcastles... you get in the sand, pile it up, and shape it. Don't worry if it's not what you "thought" it would look like, or not perfect, just keep having fun creating, and you'll end up with something unique. Here, the "Mermaid" ended up producing a volcano (on the far left) and the tail-fin formed part of a castle battlement.
