Hi there! Thank you! Sadly, we did not see any wild life other than birds on the resort. However if you take one of the excursions there is a high chance you might see one of them!

Hi! Thanks for the video. Do you perhaps know why the water is so high at the Kanna beach club? In other photos I've seen, the tide looked very low and setup was different

Hi Shannon! Unfortunately, I'm not 100% sure but my understanding is it is just general erosion. Based on what I've read, this happened in the late 2000's as well after Hurricane Wilma and the Mexican government actually dredged the ocean floor to get some of it back. Overall, this was one of the biggest downers about this resort. The water was at that level, and with strong waves, every single time we looked. The big boulders or sheets of rock a few feet into the water also didn't help matters. I only went into the ocean one time as a result and otherwise spent time at the pool. There is a possibility that there are 'gaps' from which you can enter the ocean, but I wasn't able to find them or didn't want to risk injury trying to find them. From talking to friends who've been to Mexico, my understanding is Playa del Carmen and Playa Mujeres have better beaches where it's more of what you'd expect with a gradually sloping beach, no large boulders/rocks, etc.

When I was there at around 1130 at night we where on the beach and huge sea turtles started to surface and crawl towards us my wife and her friend almost passed out .. they were guided by the moonlight to lay eggs there

@@DatDudeTrav Hey there! I tried numerous entry points into the water and encountered giant boulders/rocks at each one. I hurt my foot pretty badly on one of them. The color of the water is amazing, but the strength of the waves (at least when we were there) and the tough time getting in easily makes this the worst beach I have ever been on. Ever. Of course! If you do end up going, definitely recommend the excursions to Isla Mujeres and/or Chitchen Itza!

Excelentes habitaciones, solo eso, nada que 9bfestaurantes en bufet, solo uno y nada rica la comida, jamás están disponible todos los restaurantes solo para grupos de élite, nada que ver cn lo que prometen cero diversión de dhws
