We are here right now (June 2024). Fuego is no more, the replacement restaurant was wonderful. We are in reserve and the room and pool is quiet. We have no complaints with the resort. Has been a wonderful visit.

Thank you for your honest review. My girlfriend and I have changed our plans re: this adult only resort. We don't mind some music around the pool at certain hours but the constant noise is not what we pay a premium dollar to experience; we can get that at any resort in Varadero at a much cheaper price. The noise, for us, negates all the other positive attributes. Thanks again.....

We went to the Paradisus Los Cabos and really loved it. Beautiful, peaceful and great service. Food a bit mixed but honestly it’s hard to find a resort that has amazing food 100% of the time.

Excellent review. The atmosphere is essential when choosing a property. I am like a lot of people who want luxury and a lil bit of party. Many all inclusives I have visited essentially shut down at 11. In order to have a lil bit of a vibe, we had to leave the resort.

We liked the reserve because the pool and beach areas were quiet if you wanted a break from the party pool. Also the palapa restaurant was always good. We stayed at Hyatt zilara ocean view last time and it was great. Best food ever at all inclusive and the whole hotel is adults only instead of paradissus

If you’re a repeat customer you get a different colored string on your wristband, this allows you to use the spa pool. During the day it’s very quiet and has comfortable bali beds to lie on.

I have stayed at this resort many times, 7 nights at a time and I can't agree with a single negative thing this guy has said about this resort. Go see it for yourself, guarantee its better than any other resort in Mexico you have stayed in.

We stayed at the Paradisus pre-Covid. It was fabulous. Absolutely everything with the exception of the seaweed. We went back July 1, 2020 to renew our vows. The entire wing where we had stayed before was now shut down but we had the entire pool to ourselves bc there were only a handful of guests - Cancun had just reopened for travelers. I doesnt appear as though the Paradisus will ever return to the way it was pre-covid with the fabulous Bana Fusion or Olio so I doubt we will ever return.

This seems like the textbook definition of an "All Show, So-So Go" resort. It's by far one of the most beautiful, tranquil resorts I've seen you capture on your entire channel to date (another one that comes to mind is the St. Regis in Punta Mita)...............and it obviously isn't an outright "No Go!".................but it still feels quite disappointing how it doesn't live up to its full, immense potential: especially with the beach and some of the dining. I genuinely feel this resort has a very high ceiling potentially and I really hope it can achieve it and embrace all-around greatness. It already has a sensational layout and bones. It's like they put all the energy and passion into the building itself and then burned out when it came to the other features.

Yo Zara. On paper this hotel is perfect - Posh, modern luxury infused with nature with a stylish undertone of energy/ party vibe. After my initial impression, first dinner, pool party, i thought this would be one of the best hotels on my channel. An easy 5+. Sometimes you just never know how things turn out: that's travel, and life... I can see why some absolutely love this hotel and why it is so popular. Despite its major hurdles i still liked it, but as you said, the full potential is far from actualized. Could've been the holy grail of all inclusives..

I've been to a couple Melia/Paradisus properties and they were both very nice and pretty good value. This property seems like it is quite beautiful but it looks like you can't see the Ocean from anywhere on the property which is a no go for me. To me it just feels way less tropical if you can't see the ocean. I don't expect every thing to have an ocean view but there should be at least one restaurant and one pool where you can see the ocean even if it off in the distance. I get the mangrove gives some wind protection and is probably great if you happen to e there when its stormy or exceptional windy but in my opinion it just lessens the tropical beach vacation experience.

We stayed February 2022 and mostly enjoyed it, but we found the food to be meh and the beach is severely lacking in loungers and umbrellas, to the point of almost literal fist fights.

You'll find friends at Royalton chic for sure. Hard rock crowd is hit or miss. If you want a younger crowd go for some cheaper options in the hotel zone.

Honestly Not having kids around on your vacation is probably a big negative for any all inclusive resort. I’m 61 and watching the young folks having fun really makes my vacation a great Experience . Adults only are for partying behaving badly and ending with hot tub Sex before bed.

I don’t understand why you stay at an all-inclusive in Playa? You can stay at a luxury boutique hotel in town for cheap and go out to way better restaurants and experience way better entertainment and still pay way less than you would at an all-inclusive.

I'm going on an all-inclusive run. I haven't always done them in the past and they won't always be predominant hotels on my channel. Honestly, there's no way I could consistently do them long term. I have a lot of different concepts planned long term, and one of them is something similar to this.

@@Coolist we usually stay in the adults-only Reef 28 and get the all-inclusive package, but that’s only so we can eat and drink for free at the rooftop pool and get access to the Reef Playacar beach for free. We’ve gotten it from $135-200/night PER ROOM. This time we’re just staying with friends at the Singular Dream Beach Residences on 44th and 1st, but that’s a 2-bedroom condo for $85/night per room. Think of all you can do in Playa with the savings. I just think it would be good for the people on your channel that all-inclusive is NOT the way to go in Playa. I’d rather spend the evening listening to Odissea rock the night away at Baton Rouge Club than drink at some all-inclusive bar.

We just got back from live Aqua Cancun and we really felt tricked by all the good reviews. The food was pretty bad just all around. The whole pool seating situation was out of control people were literally fighting over chairs. Way over priced for you get. We should of watched your videos first before picking a resort.

@@Coolist that’s what I’ve heard to that’s why it was so disappointing. Most of the seating around the pool (the beds) are 75 a day and the chairs are first come first serve so people literally got up at the crack of dawn to save them. The buffet was old food under hot lamps. The Italian restaurant the food was very salty. There’s a steak restaurant that you can pay extra for but a couple we met said it wasn’t very good. The so called party pool is this tiny round pool where there’s a swim up bar. But the water temperature of the large pool was very nice. There wasn’t really any entertainment either. I would be curious to know how you would review this resort since we agree on Sandos.

In general, All inclusive food, even at the best hotels, are Always on a lower tier compared to comparable standalone restaurants. The preceding is intentional because the quality of food/drink must lowered to offset the immense volume/demand of the model

James! Was it the music being loud that you eluded to about your room in your intro? Something interesting while watching your video: there were ads for Puffs, ADT, Spanish ads and then guess what?!? An ad for American Airlines! Horning in on your Delta status! 🥹 😂 I thought the Fuego food looked gross. Squirts of mustard and some yucky orange sauce and blackened bacon? The volume on the music was outrageous. I was wondering if they’re covering up the sex talks and acts for “active” adults. After I heard your intro, I said to myself, “oh, no! Yes, the loud music was the dealbreaker I was eluding to at the start of the video. I may have edited it out or inserted music, but I think in some parts you can actually here it while I was talking. It was unbearable - torture status.
