Imi pare bine ca ti-a placut. Cum a fost la SIV? Cu cine ai avut SIV-ul? Si eu ajung in zona la inceputul lui iulie, sper sa pot zbura sa "innoiesc" clipul caci video-ul din Annecy are ceva ani deja!

@@florinelzx6r SIV-up a fost grozav. A fost multa teama, panica, adrenalina, toate transformandu-se in incredere la final. Cursul a fost cu Alex Ciuhandru, un super instructor. Recomand. Astept clipul re-innoit :)

Super. După descrierea ta, pare-se ca SIV-ul a fost “ca la carte”. De Alex, ca instructor, am auzit numai lucruri bune: e foarte greu de prins un loc la cursurile lui dar mai încerc! Am ajuns la Annecy. Vremea e un pic capricioasă dar am avut 2 zile de zbor. @@florinelzx6r Da, a fost un SIV reusit. Desi am avut vreme cam rea, am reusit 8 zboruri din 9, ceea ce a fost impresionant. Iar Alex e de nota 10. Eu am prins loc la SIV facandu-mi rezervare cu un an inainte.

Very nice video mate! I am heading to Annecy in June for an SIV course and I would like try some XC routes. This one looks like a very nice one. Your video is very educative and helpful, thank you very much. It´s hard to find videos like this one ;)

Thanks, Vasilis! It was just a way to stretch a little the good time I had while flying in Annecy. I am sure you will have a great time discovering the area. I am also looking forward to July, I might be there as well!

Aaaahhh, you looked into my profile! :-) No, I am from Germany, I did South Africa just on a holiday. The Country is really interesting, but that hill over Sedgefield is just 150m and you cannot really go on tour. With my comment for your video, I was not only referring to dasboard, but also to the general style of the video, it gives a very good overview.

Yes, it was :). Actually when climbing on La Tournette, once I got to the top and looked on the other side I felt a little like height sickness :).. The edge is so sharp and on the other side it is so steep that it makes you thinking... Cannot wait the summer holiday!

+Juliano Horlle I have used Dashware (dashware.net). Free software now. You can synchronize a GPS track to the video file, fairly easy to use. Yeah, Annecy it's the place to be :).

Very cool video.. Nice to see especially since I'm going there for the first time in a couple of weeks. The ridge you took after crossing over the lac.. Can you follow that spine all the way to Roc des Bœufs? Especially curious about that part! Thanks :)

Thanks!! Yes, it works very well in afternoons. Sometimes though you will meet more southerly wind. In that case it is better to climb whenever you find lift and face the wind with more height. If the wind is westerly you could just "dolphin" along the ridge. Great flying there. I wished I could go again this year! Enjoy!

+Helge Børven Thanks Helge! I envy you. It looks that you will also have fairly good weather, I envy you! For the overly of the GPS information over the video I have used dashware (dashware.net). Convert your GPS track to .gpx and add it into dashware as data file. You can easily synchronize the video and the GPS info.
