Paragliding, a high-flying sport that originated in Europe, has recently been taking off across Asia including in Hong Kong. South China Morning Post reporter Erika Na headed to Ma On Shan in Hong Kong’s New Territories to catch a ride with a local company that offers thrilling bird’s-eye views of the city - for adventurers willing to take a hike first. Watch as Erika is shown the ropes by her pilot, Emil Kaminski, who talks her through safety measures and helps her suit up before they take to the sky this picturesque corner of the city.
