Hey! Im a pilot from the states, I attend University of Toronto and wanted to keep flying there through winter, was curious what the situation is. Is there a club for this site? You guys fly there frequently?

Hey bud! Do you know if there are other locations like this that one can ridge sore? I am Vancouver, BC based pilot and find mountaina and getting a shuttle up is a pain! I would rather fly to Australia and do the rainbow beach all day than getting up the mountains!

Hey Amir, there are hundreds of ridges to sore around the world. I personally use www.paraglidingearth.com & www.paraglidingmap.com to find any site around the world and then I use the sites name to find it on google maps & KZbin to have a good Idea of the place. So far my favorite soring place was The Dune of Pilat in France. I hope this information will help you discover new easy to access sites.

Come by East point when there are 10-13 kts East winds, you should find pilots, if not myself. Unfortunately, it’s hard to fly there as each time we have to hope the conditions are correct and usually we decide at the very last moment to go in order to get the best wind predictions. You have to be ready to leave on short notice and expect several attempts before succeeding.
