Man, seems like lift was everywhere! Beautiful XC flight. Really captivating. We are envious. A few exciting moments! Also lusting for an InReach... tired of Spot limitations.

The video is a bit deceiving - there was some sort of inversion and it took quite a bit of scratching to get up in some places. Overall the going was comparatively slow. Check the track on Leonardo. Nevertheless, fun flight!

The fire line is very evident. I remember when the East side of launch was black and it looked like a porcupine's back.

Is this potato hill up Yokohl Dr.? That’s like 2 hours from my home and I’m planning on signing up for lessons from eagle paragliding in Santa Barbara. Been flying RC gliders, planes , helicopters ect. For over 25 years but slope soaring and thermal soaring has always been my favorite. My goal is to fly there and try cross country all the way to my property in Tulare by summer

@@GuidoZavagli talk about The lack of freedom to flight I’ve visited most of the sites that you’re suggesting every site is a controlled area checking in reporting opening guidelines restricted timetables this is not freedom this is not enjoying stressless flight…! I hope my areas never get cluttered with rules and so called authorities figures.
